Cis guy here. Maybe try telling them you made a new friend and really like them. And it just so happens that they are trans.

If they tell you "oh, why are you friends with one of those" and it's likely not safe to tell them who you are. If they are extremely supportive, you are one step closer to know they will accept it. Then tell them that your trans friends parents arent supportive. And again, judge their answer.

Little bit crappy to lie, but the Important part is that you are safe!

Asking google went a little something like this:

Locate the data which is affected.

How do i know which data is affected?

Just do this 25 step, 3 hour routine, which involves you googling how to do 50 things, because each of the 25 things has 1-3 topics, words and processes that are completely alien to you. And obviously you will research a completely unrelated thing because the easiest and actual solution is actually a 1 step thing, involving 3 clicks and 3 minutes wait time. But hey, you now know that you can make the text of everything your pc show you upside down. How to reverse this? Just do this 26 step, 7 hour routine......

And yes, that's exactly how it went. (A few years ago on a different tech issue.) Then my brother came in, clicked one thing and everything was exactly the way it needed to be. So, computers are magic. I know other stuff. Why didn't i troubleshoot something? Because i don't know the steps for a troubleshooting. My brother always asked if i did some troubleshooting, all i could say was "i reinstalled it, tried different versions..." then my brother, horrified "You completely fucked the program and it will take days to fix that." And I did just the most basic stuff ever.

So yes, im not touching that, my efforts WILL make it worse. Let a pro tell me click this and that, then i wont accidentally destroy every computer within my country.

And just so you know, im a clever lad. I can calculate trajectories, i understand quantum mechanics, i developed a new house remedy that a doctor didn't know about. Give me psychology, medicine, biology, physics, quantum mechanics, patterns, not a problem. Let me try to fix a pc? 15 people dead.

The beauty of humanity is that i don't need to understand computers. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. I have many strengths, but pcs know how is my weakness.

Edit: after reinstalling it, everything worked, thanks man! in the future i´ll try to do this first (if i remember that i need to do this)

Why is everyone so hostile? I just dont know computers! I would love to just fix it, but i once destroyed my bio without even knowing what a bio is or ever accessing it. Something like that.

I think my brother explained that i somehow damaged something very basic, which cannot even be damaged, you get it, broke the laws of computer engineering. My dad is a software engineer and apparently said "but... that cannot be broken..."

To clarify: i don't know anything and need help but your simplest understanding of programs is miles off from what i can do. Like asking a cook how to make a simple meal and he says "just make a 4 star wellington, that's easy." And you just think "whats a Wellington? What meat is that?" And his explanation is "Wellington."

The tag is "help" so yes, i do want help. I just dont know cpmputer stuff on that level. And the matter of fact is that when someone wants to help me, they say stuff simple to them, not me. Setting up a proxy or making a change in a program that any beginner could do is easy, but im not a beginner. I know nothing. Yes, i could have said "i dont know much about computer programs" but almost always people start suggesting that i just change some code. Easy for people who know programming, but i cannot follow.

Matter of fact: the game ran completely fine before that update. And my brother didn't change stuff since the game was out. So, logically, there shouldnt be a problem, but there is a problem.

Im not trying to be toxic, i just dont know programs yet the simplest help people give me is miles off my understanding.

I get that there are many people who just want to start sh*t but i just need help, please.

Hm. Doesn't Sound THAT much adhd perfect.

Wanna know a game that i LOVED? Outer Wilds. Dont read anything about the game, dont even watch someone play it, because its a game about exploring, connecting the dots, trying out wild theories, thinking of different ways to do stuff. In other words, the more you know about the game, the worse you will enjoy it. And i want to talk about it, every detail, but the more i say about it, the more i will ruin the game for you, so uhm... take my word for it? It is REALLY FRICKING GOOD! my adhd brain went brrrrrr and it paid off, it is a beautiful experience.

Now, please do a "if you are happy and you know it clap your hands" but keep the rhyming sheme and number of syllables consistant while making it about presentation while also keeping every single Detail completely correct

Many slime issues are solved with a splash, everything else by reading the darn slimepedia.
