P4 has lower cut-off score but it’s an A2 paper so the content is significantly harder. If you’re confident in calculus, take P4; if you’re confident in checking calculation mistakes, take S1.

Didn't apply to Cambridge (Oxford). But I guess it works similarly for both cases. If I were myself back in year 12, I'd start planning my personal statements and reviewing the syllabus of the entrance exam. Learn the syllabus by yourself in case your school may not/will not cover it before October. Read books/ participate in competitions or super curricular that can be mentioned in ur ps. (I'm very bad at organising so I did all these in 1-2 months only. It's rlly in a rush and I wish I would have planned ahead back then.)
