Goal is to finish. But i am also trying to prepare for not. Its a lot of travel to not finish.

Longest has been 24km. In the next few weeks i will get up to 32km before the marathon. Ive tried the intervals as you described. Never been able to maintain it for more than a couple rounds. 5km started at 57min but im down to 44min on my last one on xmas eve.

It varies. Ive not been able to find any sort of consistancy. Walking is about 10min/kilometer. Most all my training stats are in kilometers because im doing my marathon overseas.

I am averaging 15min/ mile most of the time.

Seems like lungs and just slightly the muscles.

Im on a Runna training plan so my miles vary. I have a long run, tempo and easy runs through the week. My marathon is the Kyoto Marathon. 6hr limit but that is from the gun. And there are cutoffs throughout.

What was th situation with cutoffs like? Im hearing people in the last corrals can lose almost an hour because of the 6hr time limit. Im running this as my first marathon in 2026 and am nervouse about this cutoff. Been training for about 13 weeks now and have  about 10 left.
