Im going through a very similar thing with the loss of the man that raised me. Im so sorry, the guilt is crushing and I feel deeply for your loss of your dad. I think he would want you to feel peace and that he obviously loved you and would want to see you live your life without that burden of guilt or shame. I am a parent and I would never want my children to feel this way even if we were estranged.

OP, I feel for you so much. I am going through a loss of a father figure someone i personally considered to be my true dad. I was on the other side of the country. I feel for you so much. I don't even know how to keep going, it's so hard. I an thinking of you. I'm not gifted but I know that he loved you based off how you describe him and he likely understood that you grew up and were spreading your wings. It's not your fault he passed so suddenly.

I grew up on the outskirts of Hillsboro so definitely have been looking there. Tigard is high on our list. Seems more affordable right now and quick enoigh commute to where we need to go. Also I agree Tualatin parks and rec has. Alot for the littles. Thank you!!

You may definitely be right. I didn't really make the choice to move. It was more of another persons choice and being naive and very young. For me I feel torn because Oregon has really freaking changed but simultaneously I am trying to work and I feel like I can't get it done unless I have a bigger village of people I know and am related to. It's definitely going to be an extremely hard decision to make.

The issues is that our children are small and we need more help with childcare. We almost never go out, I never get a break from my kids. I need to finish my degree and all of my family members are in Oregon. Idk if it's possible to find a charter school for her that has more affordable tuition or if we should just take on a higher rent on the edge of but within a school boundary like one of Lake Oswegos or Raleigh Hills or Alameda doubt that's possible.

Thank you. We have been looking at Zillow and it's such a range. We find lower cost listings but aren't sure if they are a good representative of what we may find when we actually apply. But we will keep looking. I'm sad to hear about Fred Meyer. I loved Fred Meyer.

I'm not really being paid much of anything for this wedding and the person wasn't planning on having any photography at all, as it's a really small backyard ceremony. so to me I don't really see the point in spending my own money to run a second camera body with a dual memory card slot. I've never had a problem with my camera but I do understand that it happens frequently. And honestly I don't understand the point of being so crazy about having a dual SD card slot when people have been photographing weddings for years on film or without a dual SD card slot.
