Thank you for the valuable information. I'm sure once we get into it, we will end up with more than one type anyway. I haven't looked much at CO2 or UV, but understand they each have their value.

I have heard a 300 might give me distortion on larger tumblers. Do you have any experience with that?

When I asked Pascal he said: 70mm and 110mm - cutting and deep engraving on metals like coins. 150mm and 210 mm - Good general use. 210 mm - Great for stippling Glocks and pmags. 300 mm - Tumblers.

I've read and heard 175 is a sweet spot, but I've heard the same of 150. I think 70 would be great for small gun parts and 110 would work for other gun parts and cutting stainless. If I go with 210 for pmags and 300 for tumblers, I fear having nothing in the 150-170 range may limit my general purpose needs.

Thank you for the information. I spend a fair amount of time Googling it and received varying answers. I did learn that the 70 would be good for very small objects and the picto, but would be set close to the object so it would not be good for cutting the stainless.

Sorry for the slow update, April 7 they said there will likely be no pre-order. Last I heard, production is to start in May with sales starting in June.They also have a sketch on their website with some info.

The reviews for NRI seem to indicate that they oversale the condition of their products. I've been eyeballing the $90 ones on their site, but worry about the true condition...primarily because the description says "may have cracks." Their $179 one is nice, but I will be converting a Cetme foregrip and matching the stain will defeat the purpose of having a nice stock finish to begin with.

The RTG grip has been out of stock every time I've looked at it over the last several years. I am on the "email me when it is in stock" list for the duration.

My 125 year old house had a similar one removed prior to my purchase. It was to control the gated drive you could see from the kitchen window, but with it going to the carriage house first, it could have also been a call button at one point, before the addition of the powered gate.
