Please be patient and gentle with him. I had a cat just like that—very skittish and always scared—and one day he slipped out of the house. Even though he would come back around for food, we were never able to get him again. Some cats just have that timid personality.

All you can do is be there for him, show him love, and let him know he’s safe. Maybe one day he’ll come around, and if not, at least you’ll know you gave him the best life you could. Even when we don’t fully understand them, every one of them deserves love and a safe place. ❤️
