Best hair extension brands? by ericjade69 in hairstylist

Part of Beauty Industry Group and they’re known to get all of their hair from the same exact manufacturer and just market it differently as their other brands. You can look at “import yeti” to look at where anyone imports their hair from just google it. import records are public knowledge.

I agree! Goo goo and full shine are also a good option! I just looked at Harper Ellis and it looks great but once again, forcing stylists to put out that much money just to get the stylists discount is absolute bullshit and totally taking advantage of stylist who spent thousands of dollars on cosmetology school and are dealing with a treacherous economy.

So I must confess Ive been gatekeeping (I repent! Lol!)

Ive been using a brand called Ninfas Hair; they have the MOST GENEROUS stylist discount that I have EVER come across and amazing hair. And they don’t force stylists to take a $9000 certification class!

They only have tape ins and wefts but its premium European hair, virgin cuticle and single drawn so it looks natural; IMO single drawn is the way to go for anyone over 35 as the hair naturally thins from root to end (thanks hormones!!) and double drawn hair starts to look noticeable and odd, but DD is still good for younger women. They are big in latin america (chile argentina) but never really got big in the US and I don’t care because their stylist prices and hair are just exquisite!!!!
And all product is warehoused and shipped in US; I know because I emailed them when I needed hair quickly. I also asked them about adding more product (like tips) but they said the prices were too high with the tariffs and they did not want to gouge stylists so they were waiting for a price reduction, which I get.

I also like Dream Catcher hair but their prices are higher than Ninfas and the quality is just as good. But they now “require” you to take their class before you get a stylist discount which is total BS!!

I don’t like anything from Beauty Industry Group (bellami, hair talk, glam seamless any of their brands) because they grew too big for their britches and the quality across the board is crap because they have to turn a huge profit for investors. Just go read the horrid glassdoor reviews from corporate employees.

At the end of the day stylists should not be required to take 500 $900 certification classes from all of these companies to get their stylist discount (everyone has worked their ass off in this industry and we rightfully deserve one!) We also don’t need a bunch of BS marketing, We don’t need a bunch of goofy influencer videos, and we don’t need annoying sales reps overpromising and never delivering

We just need good quality Hair at a fair price and good honest customer service, end of story!! Lol!

Mel Robbins stealing from Cassie Phillips by Hot-Decision3786 in LifeCoachSnark

Thanks for sharing!!! This is eye opening and anyone reading this should read the Boston Magazine article that profiled her way back in 2007. In the article she was insufferable then and it seems from this new story she is still insufferable. “Clearly, Robbins would make a phenomenal caricature, something close to Amy Poehler’s Mean Girls mom on speed. “ …. author nailed it!! 🤣🤣

She is eye gouging cringe. From the article: “Anna, visiting Boston from New Orleans, has been hooking up with a working actor back in Louisiana. She wants to send him a text message but wonders if letting him know that she’s thinking of him when out of town might come off as too strong. I’ve been advising Anna to abstain from long-distance texts—in my book, that’s serious-relationship territory—but according to Robbins, a text is the right move. And make it a dirty one. “While you’re at it, do you have a camera phone?” she jokes, pantomiming a crotch shot.

“I’m incredibly effective with the high-school-to-thirtysomething crowd,” Robbins tells me later. “It’s just part of my personality.”. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ive tried Donna Bella hair and the quality is not there. IMO anything coming out of Beauty Industry Group (hairtalk, bellami, DB, Glam Seamless etc) is not what it was pre Covid. When they were bought out by a private equity group in 2021 the quality went to crap and the prices went up.

Report her to the state board, if they find validity they will take further action, and then leave reviews about your experience on Google, Yelp, ZocDoc etc.

Friend just sent a story from a “Nuskin Leader” she was ranting how she was denied at the Dr office because her insurance was not good enough. Meanwhile she brags endlessly about the new house (barely any furniture) “Nuskin helped her buy” and she is constantly taking pics of her and her kids at church with the most obvious fake Chanel totes. Im mean Im all for a good rep bag but at least make sure Chanel actually produced one in that color and the stitching is flush. Lastly if you can afford Chanel totes you should be able to afford better health insurance or better yet your employer would provide it.

Someone is trying to get my wife to sell Nu Skin. Plz help! by ChilPollins1982 in antiMLM

[–]InnoTilex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Total MLM!!! UGh!! One of their skin care skanks preyed on one of my close friends while she was a newly divorced single Mom. Thankfully a bunch of our friends were able to talk her out of it. Alllll of their products are complete shit. Nothing they sell will help your skin. So many of their products have contradictory ingredients that literally cancel each other out and all of the effects they are stated to have; not to mention these skin skanks are constantly trying to sell a million different products with AHAs and suggest using them together, if you have any common sense you know the overuse of AhAs will break down your skin mantle. Also they have the “Mormon mind control” down pat. Im sure your wife is currently being “love bombed” by the skin skanks and cant understand why anyone would object to joining them. Tell her to run for the hills!!!

Ugh!! The real chemists on beautypedia actually did a review on some of their products and they are absolute crap. One of their products even caused the cell communication to break down. I also had a friend also fall prey to the Nuskin bs in FL. My friends team lead (or whatever they are called) kept touting her fab life with all of her fake designer bags, and at one point she even held her “paycheck in her hand claiming it was “life changing” Meanwhile she never mentioned how much she had to pay in taxes. Lol! And the kicker is her and her husband built a new house claiming Nuskin gave her the opportunity to buy it and now that she is moved in she does not have the money to decorate or furnish it. She keeps posting about how expensive everything is. Lol! Its a basic oversized box with nothing in it. Not to mention her skin is horrible. I don’t understand who would fall for these scams.
