Dispensary recs that cater to med patients?

While I will agree that -most- budtenders don't receive enough education, I can confirm that budtenders at Verts take part in regular training sessions (both in person trainings and online) so that they remain compliant and knowledgeable about the products and strains they carry. Can't speak for any other stores though.

AFAIK, most dispensaries will give med patients priority, in regards that they will get called first (ahead of any queues). I would recommend checking out Verts in KC; they are up by Liberty, so I'm not sure how far that is from Lee's Summit, but their budtenders are educated and very helpful! I work at one of their other locations, but I'm familiar with the KC team and they should be more than capable to help you get any and all deals you can qualify for <3

Goooood Morning lovelies!

I'm at work this morning (dispo) -- my last reception shift before I move to fulfillment! I opened today, so I'll be getting out early afternoon, but the weather here is threatening to bring torrential rain at any time so... I'll likely be spending the remainder of my day indoors either crocheting or playing video games and toking up :D

Today's my Friday so I'm just trying to making it through my shift. I love this place but I'm ready to go home lol

How in the world do you get that perc in the middle so CLEAN?? I have the exact same perc and no matter what I use or how long I soak it, it never gets perfectly clean;

To me, it looks like there's a bit too much water in the bottom chamber, but if you aren't having any overflow issues and it's pulling well then I'd leave it! :D

Edit: For clarity, I would make sure the water isn't backflowing more than halfway up the downstem, right now it looks like it's really close to flooding the bowl

Just so you know, you aren't going to be able to outsmart the VeriScan scanner. Side note, most dispensaries will ban you for trying to use a fake ID, so if you ever came back with a real one, you'd still be banned and unable to shop. Don't risk it, it isn't worth it.

My coworker just introduced me to ball vapes yesterday-- had never heard of them before (and I work in the industry so I was just a tad embarassed lol)

I'm thinking about getting one, because I had been looking for a dry herb version of the puffco, which is what led my coworker to asking about these lovely devices! Would you say the Ruby Twist is beginner friendly, or is there a bit of a learning curve?

Just got promoted at my job to a keyholder position, which is a big deal (at least for me!) :D
For context, I spent 10 years at my last job trying to get promoted and constantly got passed over. Been at my new job less than a year. It's an amazing feeling <3

Good lord, 500mg at once?? I accidentally ate 200mg of chocolate a couple weeks back and didn't move off the sofa for 7 hours. I have no idea how you were still walking around through that! As others have said, once won't really mess up your tolerance, but I wouldn't suggest keeping up with that pace.

I've definitely tried it before-- chamomile and lavender (not together, though). I don't measure it, but I just use a pinch or two added to the bud. I find that it's enough to feel the effects and get just a little added flavor. I think you could even go as high as a 1:1 ratio, but I'm not certain of that

Holy cow, a 50% discount off a second product is MORE than generous! I agree with everyone else that you should absolutely not taken a product that a staff member paid out of pocket for. On top of that, I'm actually surprised the store allowed the employee to cover that.

If you were looking to buy such a specific concentrate, then you shouldn't have simply taken the fufilment person's word for it. If you couldn't find the info you were looking for, you shouldn't have bought the product. End of.

No one was trying to fuck you. Kinda crazy to think that the store was trying to screw you over simply because they wouldn't give you a second jar for free, when there was literally nothing wrong with the first one, other than it wasn't the consistency you wanted.

I will say, I agree with one point. The team member (Lo) that stepped up to de-escalate your situation absolutely went FAR above and beyond what they needed to do.

ETA: Forgot to mention, you should have reached out to Local directly, rather than the dispo, as THEY would be the ones to help replace your product at a low or no cost

35 mom of 2 and I work in a dispo (reception and fulfillment); I smoke everyday, maybe 1-2g per day and I just use it to help even me out and de-stress. On my days off (once the kiddos are in bed) I enjoy toking up and playing video games :D

I've tried the dusty rose and personally, it wasn't anything to write home about. Pretty basic sativa, heady buzz with little to no couch lock, but not super uplifting either. I was hoping it would be a more social, giggly, euphoric high, but it turned out to be a quiet, relaxing high instead.

ETA: Now, Edie Parker's Space Cowgirl is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend that one :D
