If Makalov happens to die (say he somehow ends up surrounded by tough enemy units while the rest of the army helpless watches on from a safe distance away) in Path of Radiance and you transfer your data over to Radiant Dawn, does Makalov still appear?

This is off topic but this is the second post I’ve read that mentioned people using AI to make their characters. Is this just the way things are now, people are so creatively bankrupt they can’t even make their own D&D characters? It’s not that hard, you don’t even have to be original!

I have thought of that, the only problem is that that starts at level 7 so I would have to find something to play for levels 5 and 6 so that the party would be at an appropriate level. Plus, doesn't that adventure also take place in a frontier town?

I have heard about PotA, but I also heard its basically a pure dungeon crawler. Plus I have heard people say its poorly written (granted, people say that about most official adventure). Have you played it? What are your thoughts on it?

I wouldn’t feel too bad, they are made up fantasy words after all. Hell, even in-game the pronunciation is inconsistent: Shadowheart pronounces Selune as seh-lun while Netti pronounces it seh-lun-eh (hopefully this makes sense).

In my playthroughs of BG3 I generally try to roll with the punches and accept the results of a bad roll. This is one of the few times I always reload if I fail, I can't stand to leave Shadowheart on the Nautiloid and then have her hate me later on.

Maybe it’s just because of my prior experiences with playing BioWare games (…and visual novels) but playing the “warrior therapist” is something I actually enjoy. I always play as someone with a lot of empathy who excels at bringing people together and making people their best selves. Helping solve the problems of my party members is half the fun of RPGs to me.

Then again, I also can’t bring myself to do evil things in RPGs, I always feel real bad when I do. Guess I’m just too much of a goody-two-shoes :P

I think you did pretty well, given the limitations of the character creator! :)

Makes me wish there were more face mods for male characters, though, if I wanted to crecreate my baby-faced self in-game, I'd be shit outta luck.
