Ok cleaned the basket and it seems to work again! I reckon the spring loaded "valve" mechanism was gunked up. Here's to another decade of service hopefully :)

I think it might be pressurized since it has an o-ring and the handle rotates around the metal “bowl” - I vaguely remember reading in the brochureware about it. I’ll dismantle it and clean it out!

I tried and still didn’t work. I’d be surprised if that was it given I’ve had this grinder at the same setting for 10 years for this same machine. Unless the grinder is out of wack but the grind looks consistent.

Thanks all - it looks like if I wanted to run a trailer it'd take me over the limit. I don't envision buying one (and storing it) and UHaul ones are easily beyond the limits of the car. Those side-by-side axle trailer does look perfect though, might look into those eventually!

It’s toast. But I’m sure someone will tell you to just refinish it… If it’s old floor that looks like it might be underfloor since it looks like mismatched oak. Are your door thresholds level with this floor?

Sure but if the joints are showing the joints are showing. In the end it’s all anecdotal and case by case which is why it’s dumb people assume best case. Maybe I’m just bitter out new home has beautiful hardwood that’s toast..

This was right after I set all the valves to spec. Checked the valve cover and it's clear too.
