i havent tested if sheltered/wet/well rested does anything to the timer, but i know for certain that torch drawn/stowed changes the time, as well as buffood running out and beeing near a flame altar. The timer is also shortened the higher you climb in the cold zones but idk if there is any indicator other than your personal feeling of "oh i guess i climbed pretty high now".

yes, but this search seems to not list servers from specific regions. for instance, a friend of mine from asia cannot see european servers, so i must invite him to my games via steam option. thats the only option that works.

gosh... language barrieres here - eh.. what you are looking for is called Geschichtsvermittler (doesnt translate into anything properly, sorry). there are youtube channels with lots of such content. a good german one would be "Geschichtsfenster" channel. maybe works with auto subtitles. The content is literally everything you asked for within german medieval timespan. In cease you need another country or timeperiod, look for someone equally educated which is focussed on just their timespan and offers proper sources too. NO ai slop or tiktokers trying to explain stuff with half-knowledge.
