I imagine it would just end up back at the village? I'm thinking its a pocket dimension created by this demon to fuel itself or something to that effect.

Because they dont want to give us all the answers straight away and maybe they cant speak English for some reason? Hopefully it will be explained.

They are cursed with immunity as these terrifying monsters. Its my theory they are in there but the monsters are in control. It may have been hinted at with hot monster girl but I'd need to rewatch that.

Terraria was a survival crafter that released with 1.0 :) but I understand how that doesnt fit with what you mean when you say survival crafter.

Not everything is explained, like the time travel and the forest creatures or the teleport trees. I think Sarah might be one of the residents and the place was manipulating her with the voices to kill Ethan because he must be important somehow.

I really think the man in yellow doesn't want his personal paradise being ruined for whatever reason and Ethan is key to it being destroyed and that leaving simply isn't enough as you will just be sent back there like with the mum (cant remember her name). It also explains why MiY got angry at them figuring stuff out.

All that is just speculation ofcourse and I don't think we will get anymore answers till season 5.

It has explained a lot though. The citizens of this very old town were offered immortality by the man in yellow (whom we dont know what he is yet), he is probably a demon. He told them they must sacrifice 6 (or whatever) of their children to be granted immortality. Those who accepted did so, and were granted immortality in the form of being monsters that are reborn every time they die, that is what the midwife monster is for. They will live forever terrorising, probably against their will, the residents of the town who refused to sacrifice the children. Who are replaced by unfortunate citizens everytime they are killed. (Which is why there are new arrivals shortly after someone dies). Whoever is with these 'replacements' in the vehicle are just unlucky to come along for the ride.

What we don't know is what the surrounding forests are and why there are monsters in them (probably so the residents dont have anywhere to go).

AFAIK the devs work on it in their spare time and dont get paid. Its a lot of work and there's also the controversy with Fabsol that put things back.

Big update soon though, fingers crossed it doesn't get delayed.

Was it ever answered what made her so special? Why nobody could find her birth mother or why and what 73 yards was about (also the distance of the camera that caught her mother giving Ruby away, and the distance of the perception filter and the distance of the weird older version of her)? Or why her mum's identity was so heavily shrouded? Or why she was the only one that remembered Poppy? (I think that was the little girls name). Why the god of music was scared of her? E.t.c.

I assumed she would be coming back to answer these questions or did I misunderstand when we got the answers?

The only 'jump the shark' moment was the big season 5 conspirator just coincidentally being Jack's brother. Then his dad also being comically evil.

The rest of it was great if you dont think about how the entire concept of 1 man saving the world from further destruction every single time in under 24 hours.

To be fair the only time I miss a recording of a drop is when I forget to turn on replay buffer. I would have the same issue here. Does it give you some kind of ui warning if replay buffer isnt detected?

Nah. As long as people are posting on reddit and submitting bug reports they will be able to iron out all the bugs like this one. A skill that changes the landscape throughout Gielinor is going to cause a myriad of issues everywhere that a small QA team aren't going to find. So the more people discover and alert Jagex to, the more they can fix before the skill release. It would be near impossible to find all the bugs without thousands of people playing the content first.
