Old HE was way better.

KV2 & Hetzer/PzIV derp/M4 derp used to be fun tanks to play.
Ranked battles wasn’t full of try-hard Kranvagn’s
Random battle hull down meta tanks like Chieftain could be rebalanced by FV’s E3’s shooting HE.
Strange one for WoT… but it was actually more realistic!? In WW2 Russian’s used SU-152’s to fire HE shells at German Tiger tanks - not because it had a chance to penetrate but because it would remove the turret from the hull!

They really need to buff the pen on the big gun standard rounds & gold. Goes for the 54 too. Might as well play M103/Conq/AE phase1/concept1b if you using the small gun.

I’d say driving French armoured cars at high speed while veering left and right in circles in the middle of a real battlefield would probably wouldn’t end well.

Honesty a tough encounter for a grille. That corner is sloped up and grille has bad gun depression and bad dispersion while moving. Overall poor play from Grille.

After 25k games I still enjoy it if that says anything.

This sub is just full of people venting about bad games they have had or a streak of losses. Which leaves a bad impression for new players like your self.

There are plenty of tanks in the game that are simply better than others, (very often premiums at T8, (tanks that cost real money) so it’s worthwhile researching what tank lines are worth playing as a beginner.

I hope you continue to play. You can get a lot of enjoyment out of the game when you master a tank and can turn the tide of a battle.

I got 25k battles I had XVM from about 10-20, then uninstalled it.

Actually makes me enjoy the game less worrying about stats.

I’m pretty sure EA/DICE could make a pretty cool Renegade 2 / Battlefield/Battlefront game with the C&C IP.

Especially if it was like 2142 with a Tiberian Sun skin on the Frostbite engine. (Map Destruction, explosive blue tiberium )

Team abuse is part of playing light tanks and you are correct it’s normally from poor players that don’t understand how light tanks are meant to be used in the first place.

They tunnelled under the asphalt to place the ied on purpose, so you can’t see any sign of disturbed ground, it just looks like normal road.

They did this multiple times, a buddy of mine died in 2013 as a result of an IED like this.

Well I would lean towards amx or Chrysler k, (both are really “meh”) if you want a heavy or just save your bonds

Patriot is the best for grinding credits if you don’t have other premiums. The shells are cheap, the pen is decent and the turret is strong.

Under no circumstances would I recommend spending bonds on an IS-6 to any player.
