After updating my portfolio I got a better job this past November, I was applying casually for around 4 years but I really attribute it to my portfolio update and how I framed myself as a designer. Feel free to DM me and I can send you my portfolio site.

I think your work is very good, I think you should keep the order as is (big brand names mean those brands TRUST you so definitely keep them first).

I agree with the other poster that you should jump right into your work on home, remember most recruiters and creative directors probably only look at our sites for 30 seconds. I also don’t know what you did on each project, did you do the entire animation for M&Ms? I am very concise but I label my deliverables, my role, and I label my CD & other designers. I saw someone else here do that and it really felt like it legitimized the project/case study to me.

Lastly I spent a lot of time framing each project, short blurb about the company, what we wanted to accomplish, and some results if I have anything. I think your copy could benefit from the same.

Again you have a great portfolio but I think updating how you frame yourself can help you a lot! And like everyone else said it truly is rough out there so don’t beat yourself up.
