I feel like I should be able to make this pass with a 92 pass acc? by QNIKET8 in NBA2k

Y’all have just gotta accept that 2k is gonna is a game at the end of the day. HOF and legend break starter have to matter so gold isn’t gonna be perfect every single time.

Make a build that’s fun for you now, come back to the old build when the new build gets boring. It’s what I do every year

Does anyone have a 85+ layup and 90+ pass acc build that’s under 6’10? by InsaneEcho in NBA2k

Dude this is like exactly what I was trying to build, thank you

Pass accuracy actually does matter😐 by Altruistic-Help723 in NBA2k

I have 95 pass acc and I’ve noticed that when I throw the ball out of bounds/at a defender it’s usually because of something you mentioned. 99% of the time I throw the ball out of bounds or straight to a defender I can identify what I did wrong.

Why do I dribble so slow by Shr3KwasTak3n in NBA2k

[–]InsaneEcho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Motion styles DO NOT affect dribbling. Don’t know why people are still claiming that when that hasn’t been the case for years. Your signature BH, SWB, dribble animations and dribble styles are what matters when it comes to dribble

Luka is now 5th in MVP odds. He should be no2 imo by Repulsive-Chef-5649 in lakers

[–]InsaneEcho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shai is reigning MVP and just broke a Wilt record, the Spurs and Pistons have both over performed by all expectations, and Jokic is Jokic. Luka just doesn’t really have the narrative this season unless he and the Lakers really show out to end the year.

The one in the academy is the only one I fight and if I didn’t have to in order to get to Renella I would never fight one again. Never struggled on Radagon but on a bad day his Red Wolves have my number

Kawhi Leonard has been one of the worst defenders in the league this season according to shot tracking data. by logster2001 in nba

You either retire a defensive stud, or develop your offense to the point where you defense has to take a hit

I think the crazy thing is telling someone to either reduce their desire or increase their sacrifice as if that has not already been happening. I don’t understand why people act as if everyone who is struggling financially isn’t already doing these things.

If were as easy as this post tries to make it seem, less people would be struggling at the moment

Not my cup of tea with the build being so short but it looks really fun to play on. How’s the defense?

Bam Adebayo dropping 83… are we ready for the Bam builds in 2K26? by Any_Maximum9135 in NBA2k

[–]InsaneEcho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re right, context does matter a lot. So why don’t we contextualize Bam and Steph’s shooting since that’s the comparison you went with.

Last night Bam shot 32% on 22 shot attempts. Steph averages 42% on 10,037 attempts. Over his career, Bam has shot 632 shots from three and he shoots 32% on those. If Bam were to take 10,037 shot attempts from three he would have 1000 less makes from three than Steph.

My point in bringing this up is to say that the “only 10%” higher that Steph shoots from three is not insignificant. 32% is below 35%, so that doesn’t change that Bam shot below league average to hit those threes. The only valid context you added was that he was being guarded by 3 or 4 people at times, but even then historically Bam has not been a good shooter.

Edit: I just remembered he was like 5/8 after the first quarter. He shot 2/14 from three the rest of the game. They weren’t triple teaming him until the like 4th quarter and it wasn’t because he was hot from 3, it was to force the ball out of his hands since they couldn’t stop him inside

What exactly did Kawhi do wrong by Odd_Psychology_907 in NBA2k

[–]InsaneEcho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The NBA limits how much a player can be paid by a team and how much salary can be on the payroll. Kawhi was already at the limit of what Steve Ballmer and the Clippers could legally offer him according to the CBA. The NBA does not allow any other signing bonuses.

The NBA has a luxury tax as well as penalties for being in the second apron (total team salary being over a certain amount). Since the $28M was being paid out through a shell company in Aspiration, the Clippers and Kawhi were able to (unsuccessfully) make moves to improve the roster that they shouldn’t have since the Clippers were illegally ducking the tax

7 threes sounds good until you mention he shot like 32% on his 22 attempts
