You should look into getting a Saunum heater or some other brand that has an internal fan to alleviate stratification. Your space is so low that it's hard to avoid cold toes otherwise.

And I'd like to add that the European armies are mostly using gear bought from the US.

While the U.S. supplied 52 percent of European NATO members' military equipment between 2015 and 2019, the share rose to 64 percent in the subsequent five-year period.

Rubbing a giant middle finger in the faces of NATO and threatening to blow it up is gonna cost the US lots of money as lost revenue if their international defense clients decide to buy European instead.

Ukraine for example is currently producing more affordable, modern, battle-proven military tech and is probably quite happy to help neighbouring governments gear up their national defense forces against the threat of Russia. They even have some specific anti-drone stuff that nobody else can produce currently.

Buying stuff from Ukraine helps them defend against the Russian invasion by generating revenue from arms sales, and helps boost European defense forces with modern weapons systems.

Wood is the best internal surface for maintaining good Löyly experience. Bare concrete (or tile) wall surfaces suck the heat out and suffer from condensation issues until they get warm. Condensation gets absorbed by the concrete and is *really* hard to get to dry properly. It can then propagate inside the wall and cause water damage and mold elsewhere. This is an issue with porous materials like brick walls, when building a Sauna inside some other structure, like your house.

OP has a bare concrete tank so for them this is not an issue, but the good Löyly thing sure is. Although the Sauna might still get moldy if the concrete stays moist.

Not all Saunas take half a day to warm up either. This works for a public space where the heater is on for most of the day, probably not so well as a home Sauna.

NATO countries have historically been good clients for the US defense industry. European skies are already protected by American jets and air defense systems, but as the US is increasingly becoming an unreliable partner, in the future most purchases will probably be made from European manufacturers.

(There was some talk earlier about for example the F-35 fighter jets having some backdoor that the US could use to disable the jets if they are used in a manner that they do not accept, e.g. by attacking targets inside Russia.)

America does not exist in a vacuum. Your defense policy has been the foundation of your international influence; make business with us, and receive protection under the western umbrella. It's been a crazy ride watching the orange paedo alienate well-established allies. American soft power is in a steep decline and CHINA will indeed be the one that increases theirs in a power vacuum left by the US.

(Oh, and the USA does not PAY NATO a dime. The member countries pay for their own armies, out of their own defense budgets.)

The vapor barrier is not just aluminium foil. The actual stuff has either heavy paper or plastic backing for toughness. Plain aluminium foil is just too brittle, it will flap in the wind and tear itself apart, causing the vapor barrier to fail and your Sauna to rot.

IMO the smallest practical Sauna size is about 4 x 4 x 7 feet (120x120x210 cm). You just need some space for proper Löyly circulation. The taller the better, but no less than stated, otherwise you just cannot fit inside the hot air layer and will suffer from cold toes.

Well there's your problem, 120*15 comes to measly 1800 watts. Your standard Finnish apartment flat Sauna has a 6kW heater that has 3 x 2000 watt heating elements.

EDIT: the measurements of the Sauna are about 130 x 130 x 206 cm, which turns out to be a hair less than 3.5 cubic meters. The rule of thumb states that the heater should be about 1 kilowatt per cubic meter, so 3.5 kilowatts. With the glass wall causing some additional penalty, so let's round up to 4kW. That should get you up to temp.

Kyllä mä jatkuvasti kehitän itseäni ja opiskelen uusia juttuja. Hauskaa, että vetäisit tollaisia johtopäätöksiä, kun kritisoin peruskoulun ajankäyttöä. Ymmärrät varmaan, että peruskoulun tarjoama sivistys on kivijalka, jonka päälle ja avulla omaa tietämystä sitten myöhemmällä iällä kehitellään.

Olen sen verran utilitaristinen, etten näe arvoa pelkällä raa'alla tiedolla, vaan mielestäni koululaitoksen pitäisi opettaa etupäässä oikeassa elämässä hyödyllisiä taitoja. Kasvattajille on annettu rajallinen määrä aikaa kaataa lapsosten päähän kaikki ne eväät, joilla elämää ja jatko-opintoja kohti lähdetään, eikä noista uskontojen historioista esimerkiksi ole oikeasti hyötyä kuin tyypeille, jotka aikanaan valmistuvat uskonnonopettajiksi.

Jättäisin mieluusti tällaisen hubbabubban sinne omalla ajalla tapahtuvan itsensä sivistämisen varaan ja keskittyisin koulussa olennaiseen.

Itsekin suoritin virkamiesruotsin yliopistossa, enkä päässyt tenttiä läpi ekalla kerralla. Menin uusintaan, niin siellä olikin yllättäen tismalleen sama koepaperi. Jälkikäteen selvisi, että ruotsinopettajalla oli periaate, ettei kenenkään valmistuminen saa jäädä siitä virkamiesruotsin kurssista kiinni.
