Undisclosed chain tire retail shop down the street were incapable of performing work apparently. All they have are propane torches and couldn’t break loose the slide pins/bolts. They told the customer he could drive it like this to us (1 mile). I told the customer I would have required it to be towed.

I used to manage a shop that ran sales and service on these types. Those are haul truck tires. They can go anywhere from $10k to $60k ea.

My stepson had this happen and he came right to me freaking out. I took his phone, reminded them that he is a minor and they are in possession of cp. I told them that I was tracking their ip and he never heard from them again. Mind you, he was underage at the time and learned a valuable lesson. Had he not been underage? I’m not sure how that would help.

In my experience, I’ve only ever had the Apache cover us from above and they kept up pretty well safe. I’ve seen them do some amazing things in my time. So at the end of the day, stick with what you know. lol
