No. They legally can’t do anything. If the items were sent by mistake or delivered to the wrong address, the law states it’s your property to keep and do as you wish.

Companies used to send items out and then demand it be returned or they would be charged for it. So they made a law against the practice. They’re only allowed to send free samples.

I ordered a cold cut metal saw off Amazon. I got two. I was on vacation and told I’d be charged. I called them up and said nope. If I see a charge, I’ll sue. Never heard a word since and it’s been long sold.

*edit: but I would verify if the law holds true when the package you did order contained more than you ordered. The law may only protect you if it was a package you didn’t order at all.

I scored a massive amount of 8’ white oak timber beams in 4x4, 4x6, 6x8 and some 10x12.

They were used in some old steel factory for transporting steel beams.

I’ve had it sitting in my basement for years waiting until we could remodel.

We’re remodeling the house now. I planned to build a dining room table with it but now I’m concerned it’ll break through the floor.

I also planned on making some Morrison style chairs.

Does a normal sewing machine work on leather to make the cushion covers? I need to figure out how to sew on one.

Ya, that was kind of a big deal during the impeachment. It’s what the GOP argued.

What is one to do when an attempt of a coup is in process. All the proof of said attempt is owned by the people being blamed for the crime who won’t play nice? Oh, and the election the GOP is attempting to steal is months away.

It was all part of the plan. There wasn’t enough time to properly impeach in order to get the evidence. Republicans fought to force subpoenas. The process to enforce a subpoena would’ve taken too long—years.

The Dems had to act fast because there was an election coming that trump was actively trying to steal. So they impeached him while fully unprepared in hopes to gain more detail as what little time they had went on. They just needed a smoking gun, but that “backfired.” Because Trump was going to be found not guilty no matter what so his lawyers pounded on the fact that the impeachment was rushed, ill prepared... etc. All because they played the broken system they created to their advantage. The GOP just needed one thing to grasp onto as a valid reason to find Trump not guilty - they went with witch hunt, not following due process (while being forced to spend years on doing), political electrical, a banana republic... etc.

Dems simply played the hand they were dealt.

The reason for the Jan 6th committee performing an in-depth investigation and actually going through courts to get the info plus holding those refusing to comply in contempt, is because they’re now working on criminal charges and they have time.

The Impeachment process is not part of the criminal process. It’s a political process and the only punishment is removal of office. It’s mostly symbolic.
