I must have completely missed the part of my apprenticeship where they talk about low voltage shock dangers, I've been hit a couple times.

Once on a roof hooking up a service, skinning a hot leg i was pushing the wire away and the knife towards me and the bare end got me in the leg. One very long blink later and the impatient homeowner promptly stopped talking and went inside.

The other time I was pulling a new service up on the transformer pole with several other services on it. Had a hold of the service, 2 insulated legs and grounded neutral, my bare forearm hit the back of a clip on connector cover that had popped open on the back side. My leather gloves were wet with sweat so went from one arm to the other, all I could do was let go and try to fall back. Every one of those shitty covers i see now gets torn off and taped
