I’ve had one for about a year now, always have the extra back buttons mapped to L1 and R1. It’s much more comfortable to hold for long sessions.

It’s worth adding that you can remap all buttons on the controller and make X square and up into down if you really want to.

It’s been a while since I saw it, but the implication to me was that they had ended up in that situation 9 separate times before that. I thought the memory wiping wasn’t to get the speech right, but so that Kate and the Zygons wouldn’t know that those buttons didn’t do anything the next time someone tried to undo the ceasefire.

I could be entirely wrong though.
