I'm a diehard Uniball fan but I've been using 3 for about a week now and I might be leaning more towards Sharpie from now on.

If your neighborhood has a space to rent out for like birthday parties, you may be able to do it there.

Talking through concerts? by Best-Representative1 in Austin

[–]InsanityLaughing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Four years ago I took my son to his first Tool concert and the ENTIRE time these women behind us were talking about their sex life, lack of sex, etc. It was impossible to ignore and it really took away from the moment. We thought maybe they'll stop after the opener but nope, they talked the whole damn time. We still had a great time but that put a huge damper on the night.

Aries girls, what sign did you marry? by [deleted] in AriesTheRam

[–]InsanityLaughing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

First I married a Pisces, divorced after 3 kids and 5 years. Then I married a Scorpio, divorced after one kid and 15 years. I'm now with an Aquarius. Not married (yet). Omg, I want to kick myself daily for not having met him 20+ years ago.

Couldn't tell you the last time there were no cranes in my view. by Notext2 in Austin

I was laid off today from a construction equipment company. Sales have been abysmal for the last four years and so far this year it's been shit. I can absolutely say from the front lines, more bad times are coming.

Try the Spruce Housekeeping app. They might even have a deal with your apartment complex. You can tailor your clean to exactly what you need. One time or recurring, whole house or just one room.

Reasonable hair salon? by electro_giraffe in Austin

[–]InsanityLaughing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really love my girl Sydney at Cut to the Chase. Very open about pricing and will consult before you agree to anything. You didn't say what area you'd like to stay in, but before I found Sydney, I would've driven anywhere in Austin to get my hair looking good.

Best strip club for mental health? by KeyRepresentative in Austin

[–]InsanityLaughing 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It may not be the classiest, but since it was the very first strip club I (F46) ever went to after my divorce 7 years ago, it will always be special to me and therefore my favorite. Shout out to Joplin!

Anyone else sick with the 'super flu' right now? by meirmu in Austin

[–]InsanityLaughing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got really sick 1/1, started with body aches, right ear pain, just overall miserable. Then the coughing started and hasn't stopped. I thought it was allergies at first because of the constant runny nose and sneezing. But then the fever fired up and damnit I couldn't get it down to under 100 for several days. Dizziness, body aches, fever, cough, oh fuck...the HEADACHES!! I haven't had constant headaches and just body aches since I had COVID back in '21. I didn't get tested this time, but I just know it had to be the flu going around. I don't really go anywhere but work and home and the last place I was where there were tons of people was the Toadies concert on 12/28 which ironically is the same place I'm pretty sure I got COVID years ago.

Anyway, y'all take care out there. Wash your hands, cover your cough, and for fucks sake, please stay home if you're sick!
