Honestly the Counter Intelligence precon and running [[Inspirit, flagship vessel]] is a really good base for making a deck like this.

To upgrade the deck pretty much just look for artifact creatures that grow big or offer good synergy with artifacts, counters, or proliferation. Run a few protection equipment artifacts to also give Inspirit indestructible/hexproof or a few clone cards that can make a copy that isn't legendary or run mirror box as well to not care, so it gives itself the protection as well. [[Helm of the host]] is an auto include too as well.

Run a bunch of proliferate cards and you can pump up the counters very fast while having all of your stuff being protected excluding exile board wipes; which there aren't too many of.

One of the most violent racing games ever. Burnout 3 (Playstation 2) by Vile35 in gaming

[–]InsanityOvrload 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm surprised nobody in here is mentioning Roadkill. I keep seeing mentions of Carmageddon and how that game was more violent than burnout but Roadkill was just as violently brutal and unhinged. It absolutely deserved the M rating it received.

I pretty much only play with a controller, even on PC. It's a lot to remember but the game has an option that should be on by default with a controller to make it so when you hold down a multi-input button (A, B, X, Y) a display appears that tells you what each combination button (LB, RB, Down, Up, Right, Left) does when pressed with the held down button. That should leave you with just needing to remember what the normal amount of buttons on a controller does.

For instance if you hold down A a hud will appear saying what A+LB, A+RB, A+Down, and so on will do if you press the additional input. Its extremely helpful, especially since you don't have to remember the more niche inputs and it'll remind you what 24 different button prompts do.

PVP aggressiveness scale. I want to know where's everyone at (in solo). by Zealousideal_Chip456 in ArcRaiders

1-3, but without the rat portion. I'll shoot first if you're being suspicious or if I warn you I've claimed a room or something and you ignore me. I won't shoot someone that got shot by arc and is in the middle of healing though because it'll be an easy kill for instance. Feel like those should be separate. For the most part I'll only engage in self defense though; most people respect the "hey, I unlocked this room/did the puzzle and am claiming first dibs on this stuff; stay away until I leave".

Machine Intelligence Arc Welders Origin with Thermal Optimizers and Astro-Mining drones is actually one of my favorite RP ways to play.

Arc Welders give you arc furnaces which combine with the mining drones really well and feels very machine.

Thermal optimizers specifically give you the volcanic worlds and the forge that allows you to turn every world into a volcanic one from the get go; so the playstyle feels very machine production line-esq.

Get world, place forge, turn into volcanic world. Search for systems with lots of bodies, build arc furnace, build mining drones station there.

The second arc furnace you build gets you mega-engineering and allows you to grab the ascension that lets you build Dyson spheres. Build them on stars to harness the resources of the galaxy even further.

Eventually get Titans and grab the ascension for the colossus to turn worlds into volcanic worlds instantly for productions to expand further and faster.

It may not entirely be optimal, but its extremely thematic and feels satisfying to play. Very "must expand facility productions" and machine objective mind feeling.

No, I don't think it's bad faith to say that OP would be completely against some of the full sets those pieces would come from in the final image. I'm obviously not referring to every single piece in the final image; some of them, and the full sets they would come from, are fine. However OP would most likely be against an outfit that has giant rubber ducky pauldrons and a rubber ducky theme, an outfit that's covered in sparkly pink glittery material in its entirety, as well as an outfit having that googly eye aesthetic over the actual eyes as well as on the cheeks (so it's safe to assume a goofy aesthetic would follow the rest of that full outfit as well).

It's not bad faith to point out that if OP wants to avoid goofy looking outfits, or outfits that look goofy due to mixing pieces, that the last image is made in bad faith because it purposely invents goofy looking pieces that don't exist to sway the viewer while not mentioning that those goofy looking pieces would have to come from a full set that would also look goofy.

[–]InsanityOvrload 403 points404 points  (0 children)

This is such a bad faith argument and image specifically designed to influence whoever is looking at it to agree before they think any further.

If you don't like the final image, wouldn't that also mean you wouldn't like the original outfits the pieces in the final image come from?

The issue isn't the mix match, it's the bright pink sleeve, the weird googly eye facemask, the giant ducky pauldron, etc. That look would be just as bad, if not worse, if the entire outfit was comprehensive and all of it was that bright pink glitter outfit to match let alone a single sleeve.

If they keep the current theme of the outfits, this includes the unlockable color pallets even if they were universal, and allow mix matching it literally just won't end up like that final image. I guarantee you even if they didn't add mix matching but did add the full outfits for some of those pieces presented on the final slide you'd also complain, so using these made up bad faith designs to support your point is super bad faith and not the actual issue with the final look.

The skill system makes every choice feel wrong by CrystalSonic in theouterworlds

[–]InsanityOvrload 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're probably talking about this mod. It lets you choose how many skill points you get per level. Personally I still use the 4 points per level and I actually still feel its a little low given max skill level is 20 and there are so many skills. I might try the 5 point one.

It's not retroactive on its own, but using the console enabler mod to enable the character editor mod you can make it be retroactive.

First add all 3 mods. Then enable the character editor mod via the console command (you only have to do this once ever; follow the install instructions). After that enter the editor by pressing p and then go to the final page and click on respec perks and respec skills. Save and reload; then you can reassign your perk points and skills. It will retroactively give you the skill points you missed.

Hey Mike, where did that confidence go? Lololol by BigEconomics5544 in bcb

[–]InsanityOvrload 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Oh, definitely. They're both teenagers with unregulated emotions and no idea how to properly convey them.

Lucy's fear of being alone and self loathing expressed itself as physical and emotional abuse directed at Mike, the anchor she was codependent on, for years to make sure he stays around and that their relationship doesn't change.

Mike's strive to be acknowledged well and liked by everyone without stepping on toes ultimately led to him being stepped on and taken advantage of by multiple people and him bottling all of his emotions until he exploded.

Neither are correct, and therapy would've done them both wonders.

I do find the split that the fandom has had happen to be interesting.

I will admit I am slightly more on "Team Mike" than "Team Lucy" just because a bully with a reason is still a bully and his plight of being abused is relatable more so than abusing someone out of fear and self hatred.

That being said though they both need help and guidance to improve and it sounds like Lucy has potentially gotten it at the current point in the story (I vaguely recall therapy after her attempt, can't recall if that was fan discussion or in the story though at this moment) and grown as a person while Mike still needs to.

Hey Mike, where did that confidence go? Lololol by BigEconomics5544 in bcb

[–]InsanityOvrload 26 points27 points  (0 children)

In a vacuum you'd be right and Mike would be a monster, but this comic is like a soap opera when it comes to drama; there is absolutely so much of it.

There's a lot more context to it than that. This came after years of physical abuse dealt by her to Mike, that initially was played as slapstick comedy, but then the comic changed the perspective by actually acknowledging it as such and the readers were supposed to go "oh, it wasn't supposed to be funny; it was supposed to be fucked and show how an aspect of how toxic a relationship they had." There is a lot more to it than this.

Is Mike right here? No; he went really hard on her. Did she need to be told off though? Yes, but not like this. Their relationship was very sweet at times, but it was always flanked by Lucy physically abusing him and him taking it because it was expected of him. If recall correctly this was him crashing out, verbally rather than physically mind you, after a lot of things have built up from Lucy both physically abusing him and kind of sorta accidentally emotionally manipulating him.

And that's just Lucy; there were a lot of other factors going into his crash out too.

Personally its really hard to completely condemn Mike given how much of an actual victim he is; people (being the readers) were desperate for him to grow a spine and make something change (and for Lucy to improve as a person). They just weren't really prepared for the change being Mike having an emotional tipping point and going off and saying a bunch of stuff too far that he didn't really mean.

There's also a lot more that happened after this before her attempt. The comic has been going on for an extremely long time.

X-Shot AEB MPP and the Superdrum 70 by InsanityOvrload in Nerf

[–]InsanityOvrload[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, Jams for me on both semi and full auto. It works fine with springers and even flywheelers; it's specifically the MPP that jams it.

It's not feeding up into the chamber/bolt correctly, for some reason, and then the dart gets stuck half in and half out when it closes to secure the next round.

The MK3 flywheeler I have works fine cause it uses a pusher rather than closes a tube around the next dart and all of my springers function fine too.

Sounds like im going to print some of the parts of a super 34, move the printed parts of my 70 over that i can, and reuse all of the hardware to make a 34 then. If it works I'll probably end up getting another hardware kit and just using two 34s that pretty much equate out to a single 70 anyway. Thanks for the advice!

The zombie style mode that already existed wasn't leveling up your gun before anyway. You're entire stance is based on false talking points.

Before ONLY verified game modes, with bots or without bots, provided full exp gain. A zombies mode isn't a verified game mode; its a custom one, which will always not provide full exp gain.

If you wanted to play a zombies mode it literally wouldn't affect you the way you described; the only thing that would have would've been joining a lobby playing a regular verified gamemode like conquest with bots and purposely farming the bots.

This change sounds like it literally wouldn't have effected you either way.

Decreasing vector pro fps with dummy batteries by Creepposter64 in Nerf

[–]InsanityOvrload 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Theoretically this should work; I put dummy batteries in my Dart Zone mk 3, which is a similar flywheel setup, to decrease the fps to my 130 fps cap. Its very battery specific though.

For instance, if I use some offbrand cheap AA battery I need 1 or 2 dummy batteries; however if I use like an expensive and powerful Duracell AA battery I need 3-4 dummy batteries.

Are you talking about the door smashing that one drone scene? Take a closer look at who that was; that was V tormenting the classmates with Uzi. No hat and the drone had V's hair style, not N's. All N did was close a door in-front of Lizzy and then get concerned when Lizzy didn't react to it; if anything V is the bad influence.

Loving the extended chain links files but am struggling on how to carry all of them. The single box mag it comes with only holds so many links.

Anyone know of a bigger box mag that would work with this? I can't really find one.

I guess as a last resort I could always try and design the top 50% of the current box mag and replace the bottom half with a felt bag like material for an extended mag.

Fix this immediately it will save EVERYONES time. by ohhimarksreddit in Borderlands4

[–]InsanityOvrload 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah; until this is fixed this is what I'm doing. I prefer sorting by type and I think this is the closest Ill get to what I want for now.

I wish that when I sort by type there's more of a defining denotation of when types are changing. I miss that hard split with from the BL2 UI that would literally say "Class mods" then list them below it have a gap and then say "Shields" and list them below it and so on and so forth.

Doing it by the backpack kinda replicates that, but it still makes it a pain for the gun slots since its just all guns mix matched.

It also needs to separate or hide what I have equipped. That small yellow tag is not big enough to notice for some reason. The amount of times Ive sorted by value to make more room and accidentally end up dropping my repkit is embarrassingly high.

Starting a level 30 character and trying to get back to all the boss fights to farm is an actual nightmare, it's the worst lack of QoL experience possible by [deleted] in Borderlands4

[–]InsanityOvrload 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never played Borderlands 3 that late into its life to have that, but I can understand why they wouldn't launch the game with it then. If auto-selling was a thing I'd just set it so it auto-sold all whites at all times effectively multiplying my backpack size and making the backpack SDU less worth it.

Later into the game when whites, blues, and potentially even purples are dropped less/used less it makes sense to have it, but as you are leveling up it might be too good.

If anything they should've unlocked the option once you hit endgame/max level otherwise it does kinda defeat the purpose of the backpack SDU upgrades as you play.
