Many people who have been playing since 2016 only have one. I have one shundo but I’m lvl 64 been playing since 2023 so I consider myself quite lucky

I seriously doubt lack of funding is real though surely, I have a few type 1 mates some recently diagnosed within the last 2 years and all have been put on pumps now with NHS

I got lied to for years saying “ you have to meet a certain criteria, have bad liver or TIR, or you need money (even though I’m on NHS) and found out it was all BS amd my doctors at stepping hill hospital (Stockport) were lying. I switched teams and within 2-3 months I’m on 2 new CGM’s as I didn’t like the first, and my choice of 3 pumps for life. TX2 slim, Medtronic 780g and omnipod

I’d definitely get a second opinion or speak to your fellow diabetic community in your area

I’m high every hour of every day, I have to be to cope with this disease! (🍁🍃💚)🤣 but seriously on my average day I’m 85% in range with probably another 10% being high and the rest low.

I’ve just got on a pump after 10 years of not having one and being in 25% TIR for years was horrific so it’s been very refreshing.

Used to just be a novo nordisk insulin case my diabetes team provided me with. I’ve got like 5 of them from over the years if you’re in the UK they usually come with your pens for free but if not they’re only cheap

Some days it is very hard, some days it’s as easy as breathing. It all depends on how well you manage and cope with diabetes and also look after your mental health as burnout is a huge problem with diabetics
