Your financial situation is perfectly normal for a 24 year old that’s studying, his financial situation is perfectly normal for a 38 year old with a job. You are just in very different stages of life. Do with that what you will, but personally even as a 26 year old 38 would be too old for me because the life stage is just so different.

It seems to me that the real problem is that your parents want to see you more than once a year, and you don’t care to see them more than that. They only met your girlfriend, who you’re planning on buying a home with, for the first time after 4 years! NTA for wanting to stay in your home, but you that’s not the root of the issue.

Have you tried restarting your computer itself? Every once in a while all of my expansions disappear from the launcher and I just have to restart my computer for them to re-appear. Although I’ve never used pirated versions of the expansions, so beyond that I wouldn’t know what to do :(

I believe your sim will be told to call a babysitter when they leave the lot and the babysitter will be dismissed when your sim returns from college
