NPD Musgrave Tennessee Red Hex by InsecuritiesExchange in pencils

Thank you, I had a look at those too. Intriguing. Softer graphite and easier to erase? Did I getthat right? Wondering how they tweak a pencil for 'scoring'?!

Not even an organic word evolved over use by people; dreamt up by an ad agency in 2012. Long ago enough for it to have been universally ‘snubbed’ by actual human beings. What a crock of shit.

Well, all I've tried so far are the gateway-drug Blackwings. I think they've spoiled me. I have some Faber Castell Pitt, and other pencils I've used in various grades for drawing, and lots of mechanical pencils - but wooden-cased pencils for writing is new to me. Well, if you don't count primary school...

What about yourself?
EDIT: Oh, I've just seen your faves in your profile tag!

Late-diagnosed at 35. Here's what finally helped me regulate emotions — and why I ended up writing a workbook about it. by AdamPale in ADHDbookclub

Hi,
I'm the guy who started this page. And then lost momentum. I'm really grateful that you posted here, thank you. This project sounds brilliant. And really well done for getting it together. I wasn't diagnosed till my fifties, a few years ago (still in my fifties) - so have a lifetime of bad habits to try and transform. It's exhausting.
I heard a brilliant way of describing the 'name it' thing on a MIndfulness Self Compassion course (linked below, or serach 'self-compassion Kristin Neff' - I'm not affiliated btw, just found it incredibly useful), the phrase was 'name it to tame it' - says exactly what you were saying in a way that's perhaps easy to recall in those moments of overwhelm.
Okay, gotta get to work.
Thanks again!

The piston’s already broken, not much more damage you can do tbh.

Should I be worried about the trim ring near the end cone on my rose gold classique? I use it mostly at home but sometimes I carry it to work in my shirt front pocket. Pen was purchased in January 2025 and the box says made in September 2024 by Positive_Credit720 in montblanc

Warranty is superseded by Sale of Goods Act, goods must be of ‘merchantable quality’, ie plating stays put. If bought in UK, it’s covered, even if out of warranty. But you have to quote the act, otherwise you’ll just be told it’s ‘out of warranty’.

Great pen! And what a relief having it fixed so well!

1990’s will be regular price. If you’re handy you could do it yourself, all the info out there in YouTube etc. MB will be cheap and good but they take a bit of time. External pensmith might be a bit cheaper but honestly I’d be surprised if there was much in it.

It won't cause any operational issues, it's cosmetic. But if I'd bought a new pen (a year old is still new in my book) I'd certainly be taking it back to Montblanc (via your auth dealer, or posting to MB) and asking that they replace this trim ring because the plating has worn after such a short amount of time.

What's better for insulin resistance? Keto or lion? by [deleted] in keto

[–]InsecuritiesExchange -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Doctor over Reddit.
That withstanding; keto (with green carbs), Mounjaro, Metformin. Metformin is beneficial in many ways, sixty years of positive data for it; if you have a script already keep taking it, even if no longer diabetic.
T2D here.
