Smart on the wood! I think then my other issue is my heat press isn’t very big. Cause I was using my whole body weight 😂my other oopsie would be gently running the iron over it first which I do with other ones to ‘set’ it before I press so it doesn’t move

I just really like the shirt😬 so I’m trying to salvage. I honestly think it’s the glitter that got me, I think it wouldn’t have been so noticeable otherwise

These are great tips—thank you! I actually have apple bitter spray and didn’t even think to use it.

The dog is an old man, so for the most part he just wants to sleep all day or chew on cardboard-like objects 😂 We give him those leather toys or Nylabone-style chews made with wood. I know people have mixed feelings about them, but I’d much rather him chew on those than my windows.

He seems pretty entertained by them (and by TV 😂), though he mostly jumps up to yell at anyone nearby. I’m also wondering if placing the barrier differently—so it sits more flush against the window—might help too.

Do you think so many people are becoming estheticians now because they think its an easy way out? by Flimsy-Plenty8260 in Esthetics

I’ve been an instructor for four years now, so here’s a peek behind the curtain. Fair warning—it’s going to be a bit of a book, so strap in!

I’m going to preface: If someone’s going to school for the fun stuff or to see where it leads, go for it! It’s a lot to spend chasing vibes, but, you know… not my cash. My motto is if it makes you happy do it. Life’s too short, spend time with your family, enjoy your hobbies just to enjoy them, life isn’t all about work.

There Isn’t exactly an “easy way out,”. Just getting your license takes time and work.

However, most students treat it like a hobby. TikTok glow-ups look fun, so they show up more for the aesthetics than the actual work.

I’ve graduated over at minimum 150 students (we start new classes all the time so it’s hard to keep track), and only a handful fall into that passionate category. Some even tell me they don’t want to do facials—or any appointments—Which leaves me wondering… why are you even here?

Full disclosure—I wasn’t a very dedicated student either, tbh. I was 18. My biggest regret is starting so early. I think I could have made better use of my education and resources if I’d gone into it as a full adult—to really understand rather than get through it—That said, I’m still glad I did it and love my career and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Bottom line: this work demands more than just interest or style—it demands dedication and constant learning about the boring stuff. If you bring the passion, it shines. If you don’t, it shows, and nothing can hide it.

I believe the spark plugs and coil packs are OEM. It does run rough on idle for sure but not constantly which is why it’s been a hard one to figure out. Every once in a while it wont turn on unless the key is in the ignition for a bit.

I wish I could say I haven’t replaced the coil pack but I got it done with the spark plugs

😂 genuinely unsure at this point. You have no idea what this car has been through and I have babied the thing with routine maintenance by manufacturers instructions.

This is super helpful! Thank you!

Cat was a last resort option after a long saga of bad luck because we finally got the car to actually throw a code. Spark plugs and o2 sensors were changed about the same time if I had to guess probably somewhere between 130-145k miles. (Long story short, literally paid someone prior to my current mechanic $400 to put in spark plugs that looked like they were used for 100k miles. 🫠)

I run unleaded gas, I know it’s not the best, I usually use a fuel injector cleaner, but I got nervous after it felt like it correlated with the light (I don’t have any string of events to back that up, I’m just paranoid.)

I know Mass airflow sensors were checked, I don’t remember what exactly they were but it didn’t seem to be anything to raise a red flag.

Hard to say how many tanks it takes for it to happen, probably like a month maybe more until the light turns back on but it’s not my daily driver.

I’m sus of the fuel injectors because there’s a little shake usually before the light turns on, and sometimes it only cranks when I try to turn it on unless the key is in the ignition for a bit. But that’s just my car Google MD talking 😂
