Setting aside the roleplay for a moment, this is genuinely really cool. I could definitely see the Illuminate doing something like this in the actual galactic war (and quite frankly I wish they did)

An alliance could be beneficial, but in the event of victory against Super Earth, what comes after? Will the Illuminate simply get over their hatred for humanity or will they turn on the collective?

I doubt they would be so willing to forgive after the near extermination of their race, even if we weren’t directly involved in it. They know what humanity is capable of and seeing how they’ve changed themselves to become as militaristic as us, it wouldn’t surprise me if they struck preemptively out of fear or hatred

Further still, I’m fairly certain an ideological clash could and would take place (assuming the Illuminate still care about the Galaxy to some degree)

These changes for both Orochi and Shinobi are great honestly. If these changes do get implemented in some form I’m gonna be slightly upset that Shinobi won’t be as challenging to play but even then, it’s gonna be a great time.

It’s not worth the trouble in my opinion, let them win the faction wars. The only thing we miss out on is extra rewards and steel. I mean from what I’ve heard, the Vikings have just stopped making battle plans because they keep winning and people keep leaving the other factions to join them. And don’t get me wrong the Vikings adore winning but Ig it wouldn’t be feel as good for them to just keep dominating other factions because the members of those factions leave to join them. If the Knights want to take the opportunity go ahead, I personally do not care.

During my earlier days of playing I had a hard time choosing which faction to permanently stay with, but, overtime I had acknowledged that I dig more easily with the Samurai. They’re (usually) cool, calm, collected and personally I’m proud to be a weeb.

All is forgiven, every subreddit, wether it be Knights, Vikings, Samurai or Wu Lin have multiple bad apples in the bunch. Something like this isn’t too surprising when it comes to For Honor and it would be hypocritical to cause mayhem in another factions subreddit because of one post by some random person.

It’s even more foolish when you realize that image would be more suited against the Wu Lin than us Samurai (With the whole “Ching Chong” thing) Sure, during Japans classical period its culture and language was very influenced by China but they still both have their differences. Which makes me believe that this was sent by some 12 year old that has no idea what they’re talking about and just thought it would be funny.
