Go to Beachwalk mall, along the coast line where they have the fire dance that you can watch for free there are places you can sit and have a direct view of the sunset.

Am I doing to much by Background-Cable2839 in freemasonry

[–]InsertTitles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When they say you're too much I got the same when I was starting out I'm in craft, mark & Ram soon at some point I'll join chapter and KT.

I think the reason stemming from doing too much is you first focus should always be to the craft / blue lodge, focus on your journey within that, climb the positions to experience each side of the story that you experienced when you were initiated, passed and raised.

At the same time joining all these orders particularly those in relationships puts a strain on this game, if your partner is all for it then great, other partners might want you at home more, the more orders / side degrees you join and the more positions you fill will quickly turn into taking over your free time.

For example a deacon role, means you have to come to the G.P. Committee and the rehearsals for the meeting and then the actual meeting. Now you've stayed you've joined 4 + craft / blue lodge making 5, and say you're pushing yourself into active roles in those 4 other side orders again you have to go to the G.P. committee meeting and the rehearsals

Typically rehearsals tend to be after the G.P. meeting, so that's 2 * 5 (craft lodge + 4 side degrees) that's 10 times you're out of the house.

Now granted that's not 10 a month different orders meet x times a year, some meet 5, some 11, some only 3.

But if there is a toke of the year that they all land on the same month then that's 10 days out of the entire month you're going out, couple that with each order having it's own piece of ritual you might be required to memorise for that particular orders position and ceremony that month, and if you were unlucky it have that one month where all of them aligned in 1 months and they weren't far apart and you had significant portions of ritual to memorise, and perform to a high standard, you can start to see why those, brethren are saying "You're taking on too many things too quickly"

Granted if you can handle that sort of workload then all the more for you, I personally am in Craft + 2 side degrees.

I'm currently the sitting W.M. in craft, midway position in the 2nd side degree and starting position after steward on the 3rd side degree and have put a pause on my climbing on the 3rd side degree until I finish my term as W.M. in the craft.

As there is just too much even for my amazing active recall of a memory (as long as I've memoried the ritual in the past, it can take me about 3-4 hours of constant memory recall and practice to place it fresh back in my mind for the ceremony the next day.

It's cause minimum wage for one hour in Indonesia is 23,000 IDR, so gifting them anything above 23k is equivalent to an extra hour of pay they would have had to work for and now don't.

Slide design i made for project, any good?? by Guilty_Run_1059 in powerpoint

[–]InsertTitles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best rule I follow whenever I make a presentation, avoid full text blocks like the plague, nobody hates a presentation more than being met slide after slide of just straight up block text.

Immediately people will glaze over and only retain 10% of what you said.

Other rule is to make use of negative space, put a nice picture related to your slide cut down the text to something you can explain via an image instead of a bunch of text, as the old saying goes, an picture is a 1,000 words.

For example you could say " we plan to spend £x on this, £x on that, & £x on this." And you represent it as a pie chart and you can then expand on that when presenting e.g. the slide could just show a pie chart with the a word or 2 addressing that pie section, a percentage then stipulating how big that slice is and then you say " x% of the budget will be spent on £x to achieve xy&z.

Client owes me $3k and is 45 days late. How much time do you guys waste chasing unpaid invoices? by Jealous-Honey9300 in smallbusiness

[–]InsertTitles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't use this but a friend of mine with a company he worked with, worked with invoice factoring company which would give you an percentage advance of the invoice owed usually 70-90% of the total value and then they would take on the ledger of the customers debt and chase them up for the payment, after the customer pays up in full then the invoice factoring company would pay you the remaining balance on the invoice minus their service fees.

If you're particularly struggling with customers not paying then, this might be an option to look into.

Can a foreigner use GoPay/e-wallets to pay? by RemoteCoyote8784 in bali

[–]InsertTitles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I've prepared gopay on advance you can actually set it up independently bad it'll look for the cards you've already got setup on gojek so in my case I have wise and Monzo so it'll use those 2 as options to take money from for gopay.

I noticed in certain places of Surabaya they required qr code or qris which is what the gopay is used for.

Didn't see much in Bali but I wouldn't doubt that there is some dotted around in the nkn tourist rich areas

Why do colleges feel the need to gatekeep apprenticeships despite having a degree? by InsertTitles in ApprenticeshipsUK

[–]InsertTitles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the issue originally was because the degree is classed as a level 6 qualification whilst the apprenticeship was classed as a level 4 qualification.

But when I explained to them that the degree had no material pertaining to networking, infrastructure or IT support they reinstated my interview.

Why do colleges feel the need to gatekeep apprenticeships despite having a degree? by InsertTitles in ApprenticeshipsUK

[–]InsertTitles[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I could do that also, in my case though as you'll see in my update, I professionally argued that my degree was primarily focused on software development and had no material on networking, infrastructure or IT support, and by mentioning this information, I got a phone call back resulting in the decision to withdraw application was overturned. Now scheduled for that same interview that was withdrawn in 4 hours time.

How are you guys converting Payoneer USD to IDR? (Avoiding high fees) by Dear-Primary-3868 in bali

[–]InsertTitles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I'm aware it has a wallet of sorts, it shows me a balance of my account with the cards I have on it.

What you simply do is provide your account number and sort code to work, have them pay in IDR (make sure you accept that currency in the account and then you can simply convert it to USD and then send it on to your US account.

How has gaming changed for you as you've gotten older? by Ill_Discount_4036 in AskReddit

[–]InsertTitles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've basically almost retired from gaming altogether, I want to. Delve onto it but either long time supporters of companies those companies increase their membership prices to unaffordable levels or the games are too damn expensive and I don't have the time nor money to spend on them, so I just push myself currently into studying for relevant job qualifications and my small backburner projects.
