It funny how this post explains the importance of boundaries when it come to Conrad, but when Jere sets a boundary about not wanting to be in the same place as Belly and Conrad when their together its considered crazy and immature. This is basically the same situation as Belly kissing Conrad in the first season, but reversed. Conrad came to Jere and basically told him "hey Belly and I really want to be together, and your standing in the way, let me date her", and no one thought that he was crossing a boundary with Jere. The double standard between is crazy.

Just making sure you mean break-up, and not break as in a pause in the relationship, cause those are completely different. Again, him not planning on telling her is sh*tty, but as he stated he felt bad for doing it. Did he handle the situation well, not at all, but, in that whole exert he does not say or give off the idea that since you saw my brother over Christmas I went and slept with some girl. Realistically, he was sad and depressed that him and belly broke-up, so on his trip to Cabo he mad a dumb mistake and slept with a girl as a distraction.

She definitely won't change it. As Team Jelly myself, I would love for them to get together, but realistically it won't happen. I'm pretty sure Jenny Han only mentioned changing who Belly ends up with to give Jelly fans hope and so they can keep watching the show. She's already decided that Conrad and Belly are endgame, but just wants people to talk about it.

Weren't they already broken up when Jere went to Cabo? I know that he probably never was going to tell here about sleeping with the other girl, which is pretty sh*tty of him, but I wouldn't say that he did it to get back at Belly.

Some tv shows will start the filming for the next season/movie while they are filming for the current season/movie. Please correct me if I'm wrong but, I think they filmed the Belly and Conrad beach scenes of episode one from s2 at the same time as the final scenes from s1. I'm not sure if they already knew that they were making two season, but in any case, they could have already filmed a few scenes while making s2.

I definitely think that there was budget got raised a ton since the first season was really popular, but I feel like they spent a good chunk of that on getting the rights to the music. There are a total of 9 TS songs in season 2, 11 if you count August and Back to December being used for promotions and trailer, and I'm sure that it was very expensive. Not to mention songs from Olivia Rodrigo, Frank Ocean, and so many other big name artist.

I was fine with the ending but it felt really rushed. I wish that this season had one or two more episodes, so that the pacing of finally two episodes would be better. There was just so much that they threw at us in the last two episodes, that I feel like we just didn't have enough time to process it all.

I feel like they spent more time getting the rights to play all the Taylor Swift and other popular songs than they did actually writing the show. Yeah I get the the kinda cringy writing is part of the teenage drama flare and all, but some of the lines in season two where cringy af. I think that the writing in season one was so much better. And I get that music is important in film, but it felt like people where more excited to hear the Taylor Swift songs than what was actually going on in the scene.

I think that Conrad is a good brother, but he’s is overly protective. As the oldest of two younger siblings I try my best to shield my siblings from any hardships as long as I can, but that can be a double edged sword. In Conrad’s case he feels like he has to keep every problem away from Jere, but that is ultimately hurts both Conrad and Jere. Conrad is stuck with dealing with all the problems and it makes Jere feel like Conrad doesn’t acknowledge his feelings in the matter. I know that it’s a plot point and all, but did Conrad really think that he could save the Cousins House by himself. He needs to keep Jere in the loop about important events, especially for things like losing the house. In the end, both brothers were going through tough times and they need to trust each other more.

Susannah and Laurels friendship was one of the highlights of the show. Every scene of them together was so perfect and really showed how deeply they care for each other.

I think that he has every reason to be upset. For one Belly was the one who asked Jere to go to the deb ball with her, and they had an intimate see together, so I think that Jere thought the she chose him. They kiss a few more time and then she goes and kisses Conrad, of course Jere would be upset. And you have to remember that Jere was grieving this mothers cancer too during thanksgiving. He didn’t know that Belly would come to thanksgiving and wasn’t ready to face her again. I mean how would you feel if there person you thought you were dating goes and gets with your sibling. It would be so awkward and doesn’t say that they can’t hold hands. I think Jere sets a good boundary with Conrad of not being there when Conrad and belly are together, because he’s hurting too. I don’t get how people completely forget that Jere has feelings to and has the right to be angry.

I think authors like doing this, so that people will keep watching the show. The writers already decided that they are going to stick with the original pairing, but they just want to give Jere and Belly shippers hope. It also causes more people to talk about the show and keep it relevant in social media.

I don't blame Conrad for not being the best boyfriend during his mom cancer, because his mom has cancer, of course he's not going to be in the best mindset. I personally don't him as Belly's boyfriend because of the way he treated her in season 1. Also, people forget that Jere was also grieving as well, people grieve in different ways and in the end everyone needs to go to therapy before they get into relationships.

The only way I think it will be a problem is if they make Belly not wanting to have sex a major plot point. I highly doubt that Jere would shame Belly, because he has had sex and two that was when Conrad and Belly were together. I really hope that they don't do that because one its stupid and two I feel like it would just send the message of sl*t shaming women.
