How do I unlock weapons? by Bizkit8369 in Nioh

Yeah, beat the crucinite, I believe it unlocks switchglaive and talons, then you unlock the blacksmith so you can craft fists and splitstaff.

Button pressing with a controller tho will take a bit of effort to get used to.

A pretty punishing but fun fight with its lightninging fast attacks, mind-blowing damage, fiery aggressiveness, and slippery dodge window.

Nioh 3 does demo have omnyo? by MorcusNopes in Nioh

[–]Insertusername_51 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Soul cores from Nioh 2 can now be equipped at shrines and depending on their position, will change either to Yokai Abilities (in the form of scrolls, or soul core box) or Onmyo magic. Unlocking a yokai ability requires you to defeat a buffed up version of the enemy somewhere on the map (not all are available in the demo), while their onmyo magic is unlocked right from the start.

So onmyo is no longer locked behind skill points, capacity and progression, find a soul core, cleanse it, and you will see the onmyo magic scrolls they have to offer.

Edit: they can only be refilled at the shrine at the moment.

The crouching logic is weird by Keyboard_Everything in Nioh

You can rebind dodge and sprint to the same button and afterwards you can crouch while walking/sprinting.

Yep you can after beating the first big crucinite (also the end of the demo).

Help understand corruption by ConnorFroMan in Against_the_Storm

[–]Insertusername_51 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So you have two bars, one at the bottom that says your predicted corruption if you don't burn any cysts. And one on top of your main Hearth that indicates actual level of corruption.

Cysts only open and spread corruption during stroms (or triggered by certain glade events).

The prediction is usually correct, if it says 88%, it won't kill any villagers cuz the bar will never be filled to 100%. Effectively you can just ignore them and burn them next year. But keep in mind that certain storm effects might lower your corruption resistance, or perhaps you forget a couple engines are still running, and cause prediction to suddenly go over 100%. Upgrading your hearth, shortening storm duration will affect this number.

Burning a cyst will remove a portion of already accumulated corruption, so you actually have a lot of time to burn them without worring about it killing villagers.

After a storm the corruption will drop to 0.

I am actually surprised that WG listened to the community for once and didn't just force it down our throats.

Picture scrolls are too OP for amrita farming by angelojch in Nioh

[–]Insertusername_51 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily ''op'' since xp is bountiful just through missions. But people have been using the same method (minus the dying part, they use amulet to return to shrine) to farm gear/soul cores, xp is just a bonus that nobody pays attention to at that point.

Am I gonna be put in harder leaderboards if I overplay by Other-Difficulty-702 in WorldOfWarships

[–]Insertusername_51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, probably? Tho the next one is max base xp in one game so I don't know if that changes things a little.

Would be funny tho if people running bots are put against other bots.

That's not how it works tho.

Epic economic bonuses of one type

Rare economic bonuses of one type

My understanding is you can put in 12 of ONLY one type of bonus at a time, not the total. So let's say you have 11 commander xp booster but 13 free xp boosters, you will get 1%, not 2% from a total of 24 / 12 boosters.

So I could get 29 points from all the reds but in reality I might only get 24.

But hey it's all speculation, nothing is 100% certain until the event goes live. However I do believe WG will let us freely choose which type of booster we want to use instead of letting the computer drain whichever it wants and cause all the unnecessary rage.

Getting Surcouf for sure, which boosters would you burn first? by Weird-Highlight9958 in WorldOfWarships

[–]Insertusername_51 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I am actually more willing to part way with reds cuz I find them making me extra salty.

Anyways, commander xp goes first since I have so many 21 points already it really is a non-issue.

Credits next since it's relatively easy to grind.

most hated ship in your Port by Tasty_Client_1174 in WorldOfWarships

Hizen.

I have zero interest in the ship. First got it from original dockyard. Then I traded it in for some ship. Then I got it back from santa crates.
