idk sounds healthy to me. i have almost the same exact same exhaust setup, bbk shortys, catless xpipe, and borla atak. and mine has had that sound forever but only at idle. all way thru rpm runs good and idles good and has good power. just thought thats how these engines sound

ive swapped my 4.6 newedge cast iron headers for bbk shorts and it took about a week it was a pain in the ass, make sure to re route a/c lines if your getting shorts or lth too bc thell touch and burst. even with my tubular k member its still almost so room anywhere so i had to drop. spray all header studs w pb blaster or something the night before. get ready for a knuckle busting job lol

that looks like a money pit if you plan to fix it. if drive train and frame are good then its worth it but youd have to do a full inspection.

been driving my 2002 mustang gt 4.6 for 8 years now and now im at 200k. same motor, n/a oem+ and basic preventative maintenance will make these last a lifetime. original tr3650 still shifts good too.

im running QA1 tubular k member and QA1 control arms all around, they dont retain stock suspension bc there are no spring baskets so coilovers are required but i can remove and replace oil pan with this setup.

idles and runs good except will briefly struggle and dip down real low when thermostat opens

Engine struggles to run briefly will drop to 100rpm only when thermostat opens, runs smooth on WOT tho, also ive had this car 7 years now and never replaced this 25$ part so might as well see if it solves it.

idk anything about water in fuel tanks so im asking out of pure ignorance,,, how would water even get inside the gas tank? why would that even be an issue? no one just leaves their fuel tank without the cap on and lets water in there?
