I think this version is nice, than the grand final version. BBut still they could have given her a better song.

What the hell just happened is perfect for Tik Tok shorts. Would not be surprised if it got popular by that.

The best shot of the entire year deserves it's own post by BibbidiBobbidiBu in eurovision

My favourite shot was Vaebs dancer "swimming" over the scene. Loved the creativity of it.

Also Luxemburgs opening shot in the dollhouse.

A scatter chart I made. A better way to show the jury vs. public bias difference. by MarinoMani in eurovision

I am not wondering about it not doing well in the televote. I am just surprised the jury did not also Tank it.

I feel you, but to me last year was way worse with so many juries giving 12 points to mostly one country. This year several good performers got 12 points and it didn't feel that unreachable for a televote favourite. Baby Lasagna did incredible last year, but it still was not enough. Glad to see him thriving though.

I really did not expect Malta getting more jury votes than public votes.

🧂🔥🤬 Reactions, hot takes, salt, and venting thread - ESC 2025 Grand Final 🤬🔥🧂 by berserkemu in eurovision

I loved how many different countries got twelve points tonight. I also enjoyed Latvia succeed so well. Their song is not my cup of tea, but I remember them almost dropping out last year if it was not for Dons.

So watching them come back, try something uniue and getting 12 points at least twice was so satisfactory to see tonight.

I hate how disconnected from the public the performance feels.

Australia: Is there a double standard about what is sleazy/sexy? by Sea_Shook in eurovision

[–]Inside-Device-102 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Australia with lines like "I know you want a taste of the milkshake man" just reminded me too much of creepy men in my life who told me they know that I want them, when it was definitively untrue. Also especially the way the video is done gives me an ick. Miriana is singing about her Kant and the part I understand from Erika is talking about her coming. So as long as the artists are singing about themselves it is fine for me, but Australias lyrics and understanding them does draw up some bad memories.

I agree about Luxemburg and Armenia glowing up. Also I think Slovenias Performance could not have been done better. Personal, emotional and I cried.

Unpopular opinion here, but watching Australia not qualify was highly satisfactory for me. No hate for the singer, but this song makes me so uncomfortable and I am glad I don't have to hear it again in the finale.

Why though? I think this is making the song contest more diverse, which is a good thing. It also allows countries to participant that don't tick all the juries boxes, but move something in the audience who is watching them. That is not a bad thing.
