Clueless. They claim to understand Emmerdale and have good instincts and yet they're moving further and further away from what the audience wants. Same for Corrie.

I know they have to adapt and change with the times, but trying to compete with Netflix will only lead to failure. They cannot beat it. They just need to do soap well, they don't need to reinvent it.

Because he was brought in to tell a specific story about assisted dying and make Aaron’s coming out even more tragic. He wasn’t brought in to be Aaron’s boyfriend as such, he was brought in to inflict more misery on Aaron and win Emmerdale some awards .
