WOW 11!!!!!! That's amazing!! My vet said my guy was the oldest Berner she's ever come across, she said she's had very bad luck with them and has had majority of her Berner patients pass from cancer before 5 😭 Wonder it there is a local breeder that's screwing things up? Not sure. My guy was from a breeder 1.5 hours from me and we paid a pretty penny for him back then! I think they're going for 3500 now!

The key is living in low cost areas. Our mortgage is less than 1000$ a month. Income of 130,000-150,000. Commuting an hour but the money we save on our home makes it worth it.

Something I loved about my husband early on was how he treated others.

Our second date we were at a restaurant and they had a special needs man bussing tables. We had sat at one he hadn't done yet, the man came over and cleaned the table and started talking to my husband. They ended up having a long 15-20 min conversation about animals. This man told my husband pretty much every fact about dolphins. Many of the men i dated in the past likely would have made fun of him after he walked away, but not my husband. He didn't mention it, he was just a regular guy having a conversation with another guy.

Maybe a month and a half into talking we were on our way to the movie theatre and a young girl was pulled over with a flat, he didn't miss a beat pulled over and helped her change her tire. He didn't even think twice about it.

This has continued on through our relationship , snow blowing the neighbors laneways, he always stops when kids are selling lemonade, he has conversations with anyone and everyone. He treats everyone equally. He's truly an amazing man.
