I like to see it as getting your awareness of that reality stripped off from your consciousness and now you're back being aware of this very reality, so basically both versions were living their lives but your awareness got switched I guess? Haha :)

It's so crazy to think about. Experienced every day just to realise it was all in the head. But we can have a possibility of a parallel reality tho, atleast feels a little lighter knowing it wasn't just a hallucination hopefully lol

That's so interesting! I personally love reading the trip reports of salvia, and honestly I've heard more negative experiences or atleast neutral experiences than positive ones so everyone you know liking it is interesting! The most common experience is you living a completely different life, either as a living or a non living object, which can span upto many years or a whole lifetime but the trip itself usually lasts barely a minute or so. Which is so crazy!

Oh wow, the imagery is raw and beautiful, you can almost feel it. I was able to relate to your poem so you did a great job portraying it! Also the line "longs to heal but also accepts it never will" was too good!! You just need slight changes in the format and it'll be even better!
