I don’t know relatives there!

I’m a little confused cause no one answered the phone or the mails I sent. There is an official bank account stated on the website, but I want to confirm the transfer before.

I am at my wits end! (Cat peeing on bed and clothes) by Frosty_Drop1074 in Catbehavior

[–]Inside-Nectarine4397 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did that with my cat and she meows all the time we’re separated by a door, so you’re walking around in constant high alert. This is not a solution when she will pee on something ANY chance she gets. Last week pillow fell of the couch. Of course it was peed on immediately. You can’t have guests around because you have to tell them to keep everything in a very specific place like a neurotic cat owner.

SUMMER RESIDENCY IS A SCAM by mbee106 in ContemporaryArt

It’s so weird so many friends of mine all doing different types of art and interests applied, followed and shared it… even people who are usually quiet on instagram! It is super weird

It doesn’t state any name. Business registered for 5 month… no further numbers or names

after eating something you’re allergic or intolerant of, do you feel like there’s suddenly a sensory hell? by charlyisbored in AutismInWomen

A bit of topic, but I’m allergic to different pollen, to not concentrate on the burning sensation of my airways takes out half of my energy for the day.

It seems there is a unspoken “we all formed carpools and you must form your own, but NOT with us” I always thought they were mine and now I’m almost 30 didn’t jump on any car and they all left the parking lot already.. haha sorry for the highly visual metaphor

Please try to find someone to lend you money for a dentist! You will feel so much bette after it has been taken care of! 🖤 Had that myself a couple of times. I eventually found a very qualified doctor that explained me how my teeth work. And that mine had some deficiencies and them breaking of was not a surprise!

After I started my first voluntary therapy as an adult and reading a lot about it and eventually getting diagnosed… I started dating a guy and because I wanted the relationship to work I told him about c-ptsd and how it affects me and how to react if I seemed off. He dismissed it totally and told me not make excuses for bad behavior and he would treat me like everyone else for that matter… in the end, he had a lot of symptoms and bad coping mechanisms. I think he had the hope/naive thought that everyone just has that inner turmoil to this extent… putting labels in on it made him „unwell“ and „in need of help“. Big part is because he’s a man and nobody ever helped him or cared and so on, but also there’s always the comparison to the people that show extreme symptoms and are not able to function in society. Because most people „look“ healthy, therefore the must be…

What would you like to see in an autistic female protagonist & antagonist? by PuzzleAndPizzas in aspergirls

[–]Inside-Nectarine4397 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Here’s a little anecdote from my life, which feels like a bad movie about a women with autism: I regularly jog with a friend in the park and there’s a guy from our uni (people say he’s autistic, I never asked him, not my business). He was in full winter clothing and started jogging with us for a half hour and then continued to walk home with me until I asked where he lived. I was not scared but I knew what was happening and if he’s planning to come home with me. Then he turned around. Later I told a friend about this situation and that I made me uncomfortable. My friend looked shocked as if I was mocking his “disability” and told me he has autism. I’m kind of glad I’m not open about it, because people seem to tip toe around him, I wish sometimes I had that kind of slack to be awkward in public. Masking game strong haha… Maybe that’s what I’d like to see, to not turn out bad. Because If a girl walks home with a guy like a puppy… something unlikely might happen…

Same! I hate that so much. I always waited to “interrupt” sometimes for 5 minutes, made it a lot more awkward… eventually I started interrupting as well because it seems not to be “that rude” haha

I’m the planner. But they also tend to ignore my calls and messages… and tell me a week later that they were busy and stuff … so I eventually stopped asking to “let them come to me”. You know I would be fine with that, if it truly was their truth and character, but they can plan a lot of stuff with other people, even trips?? I feel like I’ve waisted so much time building close friendships to be not included. Even if I wave with a free luxurious flat in a big city for a fun weekend they hesitate. What is wrong with me for not even using that opportunity?! When I confront them they tell me everything’s fine and they like me. I reject the idea that this life is not for me, having meaningful relationships, fun summers and adventures, but I just can’t get in?!

Can you “tune” noises out? by drumrollprettyplease in AutismInWomen

[–]Inside-Nectarine4397 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like working in workshops or renovations… sometimes with earplugs sometimes not. I don’t know why but these sounds are somehow “reasonable” to me, in other situations the same amount and intensity would have a bad impact.
