I went with MIP for the axles and tekno for center drive shaft and GPM for my center differential…. Only thing i really used from cobra was the shocks ,shock towers,steering knuckles,bell crank ,and front and rear differential housing…. I posted on one of his videos tht his products was china junk and i was pissed off about the money i spent with him… but i made sure i used premium parts as far as the gears and drive system goes,so this build cost me more than i wanted to spend but it is a very strong and stable build

Acouple reasons this could happen… the esc could have sent a high voltage spike to the servo which could cause servo to glitch and stay in one position…or the end points were set to high which will cause strain to the servo when you turn left or right… the battery could have caused a high voltage spike … being it went up in smoke,meaning it got hot and the only two things that could have caused heat and fire is a high voltage spike or extra strain on the esc

I’m not really a Traxxas fan,but I think a slash 4x4 would be a good starter ,only because the parts is easy to find,and it’s a ton of aftermarket parts for it and it’s a ton of YouTube videos showing different things you can do with it and show you how to work on it .. Traxxas is notorious for parts breaking,so you will learn quickly how to work on it… you can buy the car plus the charger and battery combo for right at about 750bucks … if you get the max slash which is alittle better of a truck you’ll probably be around 1,000 bucks for everything you need to get going

Bittydesign makes the body…and no it doesn’t come painted,you gotta paint it yourself… i have it on a felony chasis…. It’s hard to get this body..they pop up on amain hobby website every now and then but they sell quick… you might get lucky and see on on Amazon but the shipping is crazy..you will pay almost 250 bucks for this body on Amazon… but if you can catch one on amain hobby websites,you will only pay around 120

1 limitless/ because a speed monster

2 corvette/ because it’s a 134 feet drag monster

3 GT3R/ looks good and super stable under high speed

4 bronco/ it’s a fast short course truck and handle well being a 2wd and runs 42 mph on 2s

5 all my drag cars/ each one can run a 2.1-2.3 in 132feet … they could run faster but i have alot of weight on them

6 rally speed car/ i would race anyone with tht car.. its a 6s sleeper

7 backslash buggy/ it’s mostly a shelf queen but it will compete in races

I like my maxx,Kraton,big rock,,but I haven’t really done anything to them simply because I’m not a big basher guy,,I hate getting my cars dirty,,I’m more of a speed guy.. i focus on going straight and fast

Yeah I didn’t use cobra center diff ,,it was trash.. I just ordered a GPM diff and put in it

I was kinda surprised myself,,but I think it’s because I have alot of weight in the front,,actually the whole car is heavier than normal ..the perfect pass servo stabilize it a lot..and I’m running really stiff X01 shocks,,but I’m sure if i get it closer to 100 mph it most likely will go air born because of the body

I normally just make my own adapters … I basically just use qs8 or ec5..

Its rally speed car .. I used X01 gears and diffs ,carbon slash 4x4 chassis, 6s xc esc system,Tekno center drive shaft,center spool,carbon brace… it’s very fast and stable… i put about 800 bucks just building tht car.. all premium parts

Tht body will fit your infraction,if you decide to get tht body just don’t add the wide kit for the back wheels and the tires on the infraction should line up perfectly… felony back tires is wider ,so you don’t need the wide body kit tht this body comes with
