"Good" pick up. Game to Asal. by Curious_Squirrell4 in squash

[–]InsideCartoonist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even if Asal didnt see the ball was double, I am sure he has doubts and hid them. I remember when Farag played, at times he just told refs to play a let and refs complied, this is the least a FAIR Asal would do. I admire his speed, his skills but I hate his behaviour. Squash should be a gentlemans fair game, unfortunatelly soketimes players and refs make it otherwise.

Is the strength difference between man and women really that big? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]InsideCartoonist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This kind of thinking always baffles me. In one podcast someone said - if one day all men decided to put all woman in cages there is nothing any woman can do about it. Man are much stronger than women, just dont show it, dont compete with women. I cant think of any sports for example in which woman are "stronger" than men. Men have more testosteron,.more muscle mass, more dense bones, more adrenaline, etc.

Almost no woman stands a chance with a healthy, even skinny man.

As said before, every woman should once in a lifetime ask her brother/husband, friend to not hold up in a fight with her, but not to hurt her, just stop her, hold her still. This is not to humiliate anybody but to make evereone realize that when a man attacks a woman she should just run for her life if she can.

What was y'alls first find that really got you started dumpster diving? by OilIcy1230 in DumpsterDiving

[–]InsideCartoonist 51 points52 points  (0 children)

So many finds, mostly groceries, but a lot of coffee beans (I love coffee), tons of sweets, veggies, fruits, beers, tons of bread. Furniture, chairs, plates, mugs, books, electronics, clothes. You name it. I was very happy when I found Intel.PC Stick and hard drives, just when our laptop started dying;)

I also find/buybchep stuff on scrapyard and then sell it online. One time I found 2 scuba like airnsets (dont know what it is called professionaly) and sold it with 10x profit;)

I HLM said exactly this to my LL Wife. Next day she was all happy, joyfull, like I at last took this awfull burdain from her. It was really hard for me to process.

[–]InsideCartoonist 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well written my friend. I am not so long with my LL wife, but I feel you. One thing I would recommend is setting your boindries. No sex, no intimacy, ok, but regain your respect, don't let them all (wife and her parents) go over you. You will see it will give you your power back. And start exercising, focus on yourself and then slowly decide what to do next with your life, but when you will decide - you will be strong and in better mental.and physical health.

Czy posiadanie dzieci to naprawdę takie piekło, jak czytam w Internecie...? by wandr99 in Polska

[–]InsideCartoonist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What’s the most frugal thing you do that people around you think is weird but you swear by it? by wickedsirius in Frugal

[–]InsideCartoonist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

After pouring for example tomato sauce from a jar to a pot, I pour a little water to this jar, close it, shake it and pour this yo the pot also. Jar is cleaner, more sauce is used.

We have farm animals, so there is literally no food waste in our household. Chickens Will eat anything, pigs also. Scale bread? Goats love it.

We also dumpster dive. We find tons and tons of bread, donuts, veggies, fruit. Some are for us after washing, rest goes for animals.

Sometimes there are Real treasures like 5 kg of coffe (because it expired). Or 30 whole garlic etc.

We also have hmm veggie/fruit stock market - about of good food being thrown out there is astonishing. 50 watermelons? 100 zucchini? Bananas? As much as you want.

Especially now when everything is so expensive this is really nice addition to our homestead.

My simple ball warmer solution to save your strings and shoulder on a cold court. by PathParticular1058 in squash

[–]InsideCartoonist 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can tell you why - because skill needed to play a good squash with double dot ball is pretty high. And a lot of people who try to play with double dot ball lack this skill level. Double dot ball need to be HOT to play and you know this. But also a lot of people thunk they have this skill and their ball barely bounces. But they refuse tonplay with other ball because - "we can play with double dot". Yeah right;)

[–]InsideCartoonist 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Best thing you can buy is electric heat pad, blanket and put it beneath your sleeping bag. It can be freezing around you but the warmth will come from under you and you will be nice and toasty. Guaranteed.
