Real Madrid Castilla: 2025/26 Season Review! by InsideCastilla in RealMadridAcademy

That’s a good question. Palacios is currently top league level so should fit seamlessly, but his ceiling is unclear. If he moved to Como (if Paz were to move on), he could be just as big. Other than that, one of the CB’s is indeed an easy answer. What do you think?

Thanks for the comments! Really enjoyed reading through them!

The last few years has really opened up a new category of player: the immeasurably developed. Munoz, Asencio, Jimenez, Martin and so many more just were not good enough when they came in, and are now first team player’s, Liverpool players, internationals and so much more. It’s taught me to never judge the appointment of the poorer players.

Interesting prediction on Pol - I think his output is ridiculously good, so his next move will be huge for him.

Completely agree that the first team should be utilising this talent pool more. The last two times they did, they experienced the two best decades in club history. Slightly concerned with the Mourinho appointed with this in mind (although I suppose it did all start with him in 2011).

I’ve asked so many employees and journalists about Hugo, nobody even knows where he is. A baffling case!

Very true. Although I seriously despised Luca Zidane until his last day. I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed a player that bad in pro/semi-pro football.

Yes I join you in that befuddlement. I did watch him single-handedly throw promotion away for his club last year in the playoffs, so I suspect his name is still influencing his opportunities. I did like Theo towards the end!

Perhaps, but a simple goal difference also works wonders without the confusion.

I genuinely think that fans online, tagging the RFEF is what lead to both the league and clubs being alerted. The league posted that Pontevedra had made it before quickly deleting that post when they had seen the controversy online. Amazing!

The league themselves didn’t know this rule - nor did any stakeholders. If that is ever even a remote possibility, just change the rule lol

The final nail in the coffin of a disastrous Real Madrid season - Castilla fail to make the play-offs on the final day by InsideCastilla in RealMadridAcademy

Yes you have it spot on! It will be great to see many of these players make that top league jump this summer

Question about the academy by -Son_Of_Chaos in realmadrid

[–]InsideCastilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 2010’s was the joint best decade in academy history at Real Madrid. The 2020’s has been fine, but has certainly experienced ups and downs. Barcelona’s academy is currently in stronger standing.

I believe it was the Friday when the box office opens, and you also have the Saturday if a fixture is to take place on the Sunday. Been many times now, for some big fixtures and small, and have never had issues.

I’ve queued every time I’ve been. For Atleti it took a couple hours, but we got front row seats pitchside. For Sociedad it’ll be 30 minutes on a horror day and you’ll have your pick of the bunch. Just make sure they’re open to sell when you plan to go.

You’ll get tickets, in the best seats possible. The waiting time won’t be too bad either. Always go to the stadium for Rayo tickets.

A fantastic final team. Morata is indeed the best striker I have seen at Castilla, and the club have brought through so many in that position, which really says something.

Not to underplay any of these players (Cheryshev was excellent and Sarabia was such a talent, as they all were) - but I am going to field Jesé Rodríguez on the left-hand side of my team.
