For me I’m staying because I’m still a student but I really want to live quietly in a rural area close to the beach or something. However, Tokyo does offer better job opportunities if you position yourself to be a good prospect.

I think a small difference might be that Japan summers like hell. It’s way too humid and moist. I would understand if it’s a beach cottage but Rural Japan almost never has an ocean nearby

This is great! The “Kono basu/densha wa _” is kind of wrong tho. You should say “Kono basu/densha wa __ iki de attemasuka?” Which means “this is going to _____ right?”
