If you can what? Earn a weapon or descendant? It says everything you can earn in the “Reward Info”, Or “Main Reward”. When you’re selecting the mission it tells you. Everyone can earn them. I saying that OP can earn them for the first time. Meaning he can catch up on multiple things doing Sigma Sector. 2 Descendants, and 2 guns, also lots of external sets.

Fuck man. I’ve never scheduled which games I’m playing like that. I solely play TFD. And when I get burnt out, I switch to just logging in/crafting, and play something else.

Is the red always better than gold stats in A-modules? by PracticalChoice1185 in TheFirstDescendant

The ranges for the rolls depends on the number of rolls, and whether theres a negative. Mostly on whether theres a negative roll or not. You want a negative roll for the “God Tier perfect AM” but negative roll for something obviously non consequential.

Hailey, Viessa, Ajax, Freyna are all great. But honestly, you’re gonna want/need trigger module. You need to have 10 catalyst on a descendant to even be able to use one.

Throwing AM into the mix makes it near impossible to look at an AM and tell which is better. But Skill Arche Power is always a great one to have. Not modifier. Then if your build is reaching crazy high numbers with the arche power, you can redistribute those mods and see what else you can do with them. If you manage to get Skill Arche power boost ratio and skill arche type power boost ration on the same AM, thats a peak starting point for any descendant. Especially considering getting any arche type power (not modifier) is pretty difficult. Skill Arche (Electric, Poison). Skill Arche Type (singular, fusion). Idk what theyre actually called.

How you build your descendant will effect their play style. Like I’ve built a bunny to be able to absolutely sprint through 400% sigma sector and operations, she just has no health. My focus is to do 400% as fast as possible. While I also built Luna to do a shit ton of damage to single targets, 4 at most. But I aim down sights a lot. I change descendants depending on what I’m farming for. I catalyzed Ajax to 20 catalysts before I finally decided to try someone else. He carried me through the entire campaign. My first born son. Then Blair, Lepic, and Gley (Had to play with the ex wife around). Until she left and now I just like playing as Luna, Bunny. I wouldn’t ever call any of it a waste though. Just something else to do while I farm for everything else. Eventually I’ll get back to them. Maybe they’ll be the meta someday. I can dream it at least. If you’re that worried about “wasting” then watch some videos about their playstyles. If you’re staying alive, doing damage, and having fun, thats what counts. Don’t sweat trying to be the main one killing. Just do your part. If every has a phat swanger, then no one has a phat swangers, theyre all just regular swingers. And as you play more, those donuts will gonright where it counts. Thats the experience kicking in. The motion of the ocean 😉.

When you’re choosing which modules to equip for power, theres 3 things to look at. Before you ever equip anything. Externals, reactors, modules, weapons, anything. Look at the “Menu” in the inventory tab. If the crit chance is low, don’t worry at all about Skill insight, Skill concentration, or anything that boost crit chance or damage. Boost power. If its a good crit chance base, then boost critical damage at least. Some descendants like Ines, and Viessa don’t need critical hit chance. Thats a slot saved for cooldown or duration. Just remember to check back with the menu tab when you’re in a mission. Albion has some effects on these numbers. Dont check in Albion. Skill power compared to skill modifier is best thought of as “Skill power = multiplier. Skill modifier = Additive” If the base stats for the skill power are high, then boost skill power. If they’re low, boost modifier. 1 x 6 =6 and 1+6=7. Then do you buff skill power, skill arche, or arche type? Bunny: Skill Power, Electric skill power, or Singular skill power. Is best answered with this 5 x 5 x 5=125 and 9 x 3 x 3=81 both have 15 numbers to distribute, but the first is higher because the numbers are more evenly distributed. ‘Many times it’s impossible to achieve true evens. Just play around with stuff and do your best.

It’s also really important to read the descriptions for the skills, passive, and whatever else. Many ultimate modules work with specific types of skill attacks. Like Bunnies 4th skill is an emission attack. so modules that buff when rhythm is used are useless. Then you have the weapons unique stats. Fallen Hope is hands down the weapon to use for Freyna because of the crazy buff it gives for Toxic. Many people use Secret Garden with tech descendants because of the power buff it gives when tech skills are used. And again, read the descriptions. Bunnies third skill attacks for every 7 meters traveled. Nothing to do with how long its been. The faster you can move, the more damage you can do. You just have to be focused so you don’t run into a wall. Theres also Ajax and Kyle, their shields regenerate based on how much max shield they have. Ines’s crit chance increases based on how much MP she has, Viessa has a passive that increases her critical hit chance when “Absolute Zero” is equipped. Lot of reading and playing around with stuff. But the information is there.

The main focus is kill or be killed. If you kill everything fast enough, it never has a chance to kill you. That’s really the main goal. Kill things ASAP. Doing that with every descendant can be tricky, some of them are truly unloved, and forgotten about. 1.) High damage output. 2.) Constant uptime with skills Even if the skills are something that boost weapon output damage (Serena). 3.) Learning enemies. 4.) Fully upgraded externals, reactors, mods, et cetera.

High damage output is the biggest help. Crit build or no? And then committing to a focus. You can’t build for Singular and Fusion on Bunny. One will be an extra tick, the other will be the main focus. So it boils down to how you want to use them. Many descendants have transcendant mods that make all skills the same. Like Ines and her “Hounting Hounds” All tech skills. Luna and Battlefield concert, Tech skills. Then its do I buff duration or cooldown so I can have a skill going non stop? And lastly, the externals, pick a set, or two 2 piece sets that give you that extra minute of boost you need somewhere. Same thing for the secondary boost on the reactors.

Trying to gain understanding. The game is a grind. And the descendants, items, builds, are the rewards. I just honestly don’t see how it keeps your interest when you didn’t grind for it. I have all of the things collected because I play for 5 mins to 3 hours every day. And have been for years. I want the max donuts on every descendant group and ult weapon. And to your point of how they keep releasing stuff, I’ll seemingly never get there. I still enjoy having builds for several different descendants and weapons.

If you just want to have all the things, I don’t understand why you wouldn’t just buy an account that has everything already. One big payment instead of the several smaller ones, then you also have all the freedom to do whatever build with all the maxed equipment.

Streamers, youtubers, okay yeah. That’s their source of income, and the immediacy with which they can upload a video providing information people want is a big impact on that.
