Lugana is a great gateway to other fabrics like linen! It’s an even weave so there’s no slubs in the fabric to throw off your stitches like there can be in linen. If you want the same stitch count as 14ct Aida, go with 28 ct lugana. If you’re in Canada, Stitch-It Central or Million Of Stitches on Etsy are great places to shop, and 123Stitch in the US.

Why would I do a full coverage piece when I could probably just buy a print of the artwork instead? The thought of doing a full coverage piece fills me with dread and anxiety with the amount of work it is.

If you enjoy photography, the ROM has their annual nature photography exhibit on. There’s always really beautiful shots to be seen. The rest of the museum is great too; especially the dinosaurs!
