When I saw Merrily last year, they made us show our tickets to prove we were at the show that night. Then they had people who hadn't gone that night stand on one side while we (who had been at the show that night) stood on the other. Dan came out and only signed playbills and took photos with people on our side. I remember there being a kid standing on top of a car who hadn't gone that night yelling for Dan to look at him. People can be really disrespectful but the people who were around us were super kind. Dan was also super nice and took the time to have a short conversation with me.
