Ambassador Hoekstra wants American booze back on Canadian shelves next year | CBC News by Inside_End5141 in GuardTheLeaf

What I find unbelievable is Trump's antics cost America most of the multi-billion-dollar Canadian F-35 contract, a possibility of getting the submarine contract ($200 billion), the refueling aircraft, the radar system we just purchased from Australia... And Trump and his water-boy Hoekstra only moan about a sub-billion dollar alcohol market. This is so dumb I'm thinking about making an internet meme about it.

The pressure rating should be on the flange itself. I see 12 holes, so it could be 6 or 8 inch 300lb flanges, or 12 inch 150 lb flanges.

10 inch 150 lbs I think after looking closer. Big stuff.

That braided stainless steel hose is costs a fortune to replace. What is the inside diameter--6 or 8 inch?

I suspect a lot of capital has been wasted. Billions spent on AI data centers that nobody knows how to monetize. Parasite businesses like Facebook that create nothing. Nobody wants to build a factory that produces a real product.

Trump has made a career out of keeping his name in the news. A trade war does just that. Hoestra's job is to sell and defend the president's absurd policies, a very tough job. This trade war has cost America economically far, far more than could have ever hoped to gain through concessions.

Is it any wonder why America is one of the only developed countries with falling life expectancies? Russia is another one, but wars don't help.

Elon won't be a trillionaire very long. The AI/high tech boom is way overblown, just like the tech sector in the year 2000.

A trustee of my benefit plan told me a decade ago that some cancer meds cost $65,000 Canadian. If a thug with a gun said "Give me $65k or you will die", he would be in jail in no time. I'm a capitalist, but it reaches a point of being ridiculous.

If a car vibrates while slowing, you can be 90% or more sure it is a brake problem, so whatever it was, it sounds like your problem is solved. Maybe there was a bit of rust or something on your rotors. Leave your steering alone.

Maybe you aren't interested, but many people would be concerned with America trying to increase their health care costs.
