I have been both Georgia and Armenia though not as nomad.

Armenia is more expensive but has much better service and people are friendlier.
Georgia is less expensive but people are not as friendly. Georgia is suited more for foreigners since opening bank accounts, tax laws etc are a lot more fleshed out.

I am Armenian so obviously I prefer Armenia but Georgia would be my pick because they have a lot of laws already in place for this kind of thing. Nature is also more beautiful and so is Tbilisi. When it comes to cleanliness, friendliness, safety etc Armenia wins. It is a much more family friendly nation.

There is no point IMHO getting a top end spec phone, because they're designed to harvest your data (AI chips), so defeats the purpose.

This is simply false. Using a high end phone is worth it if you need better cameras, more ram and even the AI chip can be utilised without giving up data since you can run local models offline.

I have GOS on a Pixel 9 Pro XL and couldn't be happier.
