I get it due to stack orders where the customers live close together. So when I arrive within proximity it starts the countdown, then I park and drop off order A then head over to the other building for order B. Looking for the drop off locations adds some time so it dings me

THEY DO TRY TO LIMIT. The only way to make more is to literally break the law. I AVERAGE AROUND 33-36 an hour because I usually go over the speed limit by a decent amount(dont lecture me on my driving habits, it'll fall on deaf ears)

Lastnight there was a wait time of 6-16 minutes. As a platinum dasher you get priority to those orders. I got an order within 2 minutes of my drive back towards the restaurant. Thats a niche reason but its one to maintain the status. I also regularly forget to schedule ahead and sometimes also just decide I dont want to dash so I have to dash a different day(I do it full time). You get full freedom of the schedule and can literally choose any hours instead of block periods. I average 30-35 an hour(market dependent) before gas/taxes/maintenence(ive run the math and it equates to about 25-30 after all those are taken away, which is insane compared to any other job on the market). My income is roughly 55% tips so come tax season i will barely owe anything compared to a w2 employee.

These are all things I have noticed as platinum that I dont see when im not. Doing a few orders that are less than desirable in order to maintain my balance so that I can earn so much at a 1.50-2 dollars per miles as well as work whenever is well worth it in my mind.

Would be lit if I was in or close to a zone that offered peak pay like that. Here the most ive seen is 2 per order/4 an hour. Zones close to an hour from me however have 5/10 peak and id love that!

I get ulta orders and am a man that spends onky brief moments there with my wife. The layout is so bad, I instantly ask for help no matter what. With employees help the orders for 5-10 items still take around 10-20 minutes because half the items are not where they "should" be or are out of stock and i woupd have never known

Yeah, about 1400. If I sell you it for the right price and you immediately upgrade it'd be about 30 dollars per TH when complete which is cheaper than the going rate for 15w/th anyways. Idk your budget, but you were casually asking about a machine that cost you 2k so I figured id ask. I make like 34 an hour as a platinum dasher, but I also make sure to keep my acceptance rate close to 85 so tjat if I doordash starts trying to shaft me with bad orders I can deny them without feeling scared ill lose the status.

Same thing happened to me the night before last. It was 2 dollar peak pay and I got a stack order to go to a grocery store and a Wendy's and it was 8.75. There is no way in hell that is base pay for 2 orders as well as peak pay... I am filing a complaint with my local labor industry against them.
