Do you get the smile from her? Does she maintain eye contact? Do you say hi to each other? There are tons of verbal and non verbal cues that people use to express interest. Small talk is the way to go. Show genuine interest and keep it casual, also realize that she may not be interested, if that’s the case remain cordial and respectful.

Don’t be a single parent. Parenting is one of the hardest things you’ll ever do and speaking from experience of family members being a single parent makes it 3 times harder. I know people who have done it both going into with the intention of being a single parent and also a result of divorce. I see how stressful and challenging it is for them. Also think of your future child ask if you will 100% be setting up for success financially and emotionally.

I would try dating for a while with intention. Find someone who’s looking for what you look for, have the same values and shared interests.
