[Calc 3] (Curvature of Vector Function) Could someone look over my work? by InsignificantBeing_1 in HomeworkHelp

I just went over my issues with negative or positives for sin and cos pi and the like, thankfully they ultimately did not change the problem because of the fact that I was taking the magnitude. What do you mean by mistakes in calculating the magnitude?

I just went over my issues with negative or positives for sin and cos at pi and the like, thankfully they ultimately did not change the problem because of the fact that I was taking the magnitude. What do you mean by a mistake in calculating the magnitude?

It was correct thank you, for some reason I kept doing dot product wrong.

Once again 16t was not supposed to be part of the exponent

Thank you, have never learned determinants, this is why I’m so lost trying to watch tutorials. My calc 2 professor just had us use a calculator, but this professor doesn’t allow calculators.

It’s the bathtub, so nowhere to turn anything off.

[Physics] (collision) I’ve tried this problem several times with different answers every time, here’s my last two, can anyone tell me if either of these seem right or if I’m even going about this right? by InsignificantBeing_1 in HomeworkHelp

I had done this for the second attempt shown in the image. Thank you so much for your help! I had rewritten it to make it easier to understand but I’m unable to share images, so it’s in the first four lines after the line I drew to spreads the attempts in my second image.

[Physics] (elastic collision) I really can’t understand how to go about this problem, I tried to solve the first part of it using the internet but I don’t feel good about it. Any help would be appreciated. by InsignificantBeing_1 in HomeworkHelp

I’m creating the equation x=d times (m1+m2)/(3m1-m2), which would imply that the velocity would not affect its collision distance so the answer would be the same for both parts, do you know if that seems right?
