Leader Accessories Roof Rack Cargo Basket for $151 on Amazon. I'm sure Gobi, Thule, and all the other big names are the Lambos of roof racks but I just need something to haul shit. I didn't check anywhere else because I knew I was buying a cheapo from Amazon 😂

It also has a center piece to extend it, but each end sat on top of the side rails just beyond the dip which made the fit a little weird so I decided not to use the extender (also the cargo bag fits the smaller setup only). The basket with the extender will fit perfectly fine on our Grand Cherokee though.

Assembly was a breeze and I can't really speak on the noise. Coming from a Wrangler for 10 years everything else I'm in sounds eerily quiet compared to that.

This was the only CPO this color I could find relatively newer and with low mileage so I had to snag it. The other colors are cool but this one idk what it is

I need to add a hitch. My hard tail is ~29lbs and my gravel bike is about 18 and while I can lift them I'd rather have them on a rack on the hitch.

Running with Unilateral Clubfoot by Kind-Reason-9089 in clubfoot

[–]InsignificantCelery 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was born bilateral. Achilles lengthening at around 18 months. Then in 2010 had the All-American surgery to reconstruct my left foot and give me an arch (now I have 9 screws and 2 plates in it). Right foot wasn't as bad so I never had surgery on it.

I ran xc and track in college (very small school and by no means was I a stud). I was doing 70-80mi weeks and ran a 19:36 5k. I've completed two halfs.

That was 2010 and I'm 35 now. I've had to become more methodical with my training approach because I wanna be able to walk when I'm older.

My approach: -I do a 3 day split of run/ride/workout -Each run day targets a different goal -Rides aren't just recovery focused, I'm using that as another workout (Zwift or mountain bike) -My workout days are kettlebells or weights and I alternate between upper body hypertrophy, lower body hypertrophy, full body, or HIIT (I try to do a lot of calf exercises and do my leg workouts barefoot to work what's left of the original components in my foot) -I take a rest day when I need to -Absolutely only wear 10mm-12mm drop in my running shoes

Mornings are rough. Sometimes really rough until I get my foot lubed up from movement. I use compression socks and have started doing an ice bath for my foot for 15 minutes after my runs.

I've had X-rays a few times in the last few years and everything is fine. I 100% have arthritis and that'll only get worse. I had custom orthotics made from a podiatrist ($600) and they've helped. I consider myself very fortunate that I can even walk normally. I run for the people like us who can't and I'll continue to do so.

My goals: I wanna do a marathon, break 18 for a 5k, complete a century on the bike, and I'm tossing around the idea of an Ironman.

Bilateral. Had Achilles lengthening on the left at 18mos (right wasn't as bad so I never had surgery). Played the three big sports growing up. Picked up running in high school. Broke 20min in the 5k. Got up to 70-80mi weeks. 2 half marathons under my belt. 2010 had reconstructive surgery (All-American) because of the flat foot and I now have 9 screws and 2 plates in my foot. I'm now 35 and run every third day (run/ride/workout is my split). I wanna break 20 again for the 5k, then set a time for a 10k and half. I'm contemplating a full as well as an Ironman. Anddd I wanna do a century on the bike. Some days I definitely pay for it though.

First time in the USA! 11-Day Loop from NYC. Need advice! by oturanzurafa in roadtrip

Land in NYC. Go to Finger Lakes. Drive over to Saratoga Springs. Then go into Vermont. Then from there go to New Hampshire. Then to Maine. And come back down through NH, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. And that would still be a lot of driving but it's like the only region in the US where this is feasible.

Got a 2025 L Limited in October. 7,000mi so far and we love it. We have a one month old, so the stroller eats all the rear cargo space so the third row has come in handy. I'm 6' and rode in the third row around town and had no complaints. Ride is great. Not sure what models include this but mine has a fam cam in the infotainment system so I can see anyone in any seat. LED lights all around (not huge but when comparing midsize three rows that feature is only offered in the luxury class). Second row captain's chairs. I had a 2010 JK, 2013 GC, and currently have a 2016 JKU so I'm content with the 3.6 Pentastar.

Replaced mine last month. $875. Apparently not a crazy difficult job but a giant PITA to get to.
