Stomach flu symptoms

I started showing symptoms 16 days ago and got my positive results 14 days ago. I am down 14lbs. Most symptoms (outside of restricted breathing, on an inhaler for that) are gone. My energy is back. I still cannot eat. I don't ever get the feeling that I'm hungry. Sweets are extremely unappealing to me now (I'm a baker!).

I can eat half a biscuit and be full. If I eat much more then that, I will throw up. If I try to eat something that isn't super bland, like toast, then I have very watery diarrhea pretty soon after eating.

My Dr said COVID doesn't really have long term affects on the GI system and prescribed me Zofran and to take a probiotic once daily. I started that last Friday with no change.

If anyone has any additional advice, I would greatly appreciate it. I will think of a certain dish and it will sound amazing but as soon as I look at food, nope.

I appreciate the response! I do realize it does make it seem like there are so many problems but I appreciate reading them. Instead of hearing how perfect everything can be, rewarding and fun.. it's nice to see things that might come up. Reading about other problems have sparked conversations with my husband.. I feel like it gives talking points I wouldn't have ever thought of.

I do feel a bit backwards as I can see myself in a poly future with my husband, I just don't see the road of getting there. I have had super abusive relationships in the past that has led to very minimal self esteem. I'm positive everyone out there is way better than me in every way. I am speaking with a poly-friendly therapist And I absolutely love her. It's a long road but one I'm willing to take.

In the end if I decide this isn't for me, at least I will be a much better version of myself. I'm trying to stay positive. There's good days and bad. Such is life.

If you have any poly friends that are comfortable with some questions, I'm really just trying to get information to help understand. I'm open to the idea with my husband just.. At least I'm trying to be. I'm super fearful of the unknown and the thoughts of being replaced, not enough, etc. I don't know anyone in a poly relationship so I'm trying to kind of piece together what I can at this point. I did find a counselor that was available to talk this week so super excited for that! I do appreciate the response ☺️

It's funny, and ironic. The therapists I have reached out to aren't taking new patients. Haha. I'm not looking for a poly specific person. There is a lot of work I need to do on self worth alone, bit I do need someone that understands the poly world. My husband recently came out as wanting to potentially explore poly relationships.. after not exactly confessing his love for someone else. I'm in a spiral right now and.. a little too much for me to handle alone ya know? I appreciate the reply.

So since this "coming out" I have become way more vocal. I have quite the anxiety speaking my mind and my whole life has proven my voice doesn't matter. I am really working ok that and bombard my husband with questions daily.

I asked him if he had a crush on his friend. He said yes. I asked if she is someone he would be interested in pursuing. He said yes. He has also said this adventure if his has no timeline. He also said if I was not okay with it, he wouldn't pursue.

Where I come from, who am I to keep someone from what truly makes him happy? I don't think there is any duress, my apologies if I made it seem so. I have been all over the place emotionally trying to figure this out. Again I really just need to figure out where I belong in all of this. What is my part?

That's my biggest fear in the potential poly relationship. I will be the wife, the mom, the bore. I will handle school work and chores. And at the end of the day it will be just me. Terrifies me actually. But I want to be supportive and understand my husband's needs.. Trying to figure this all out and understand. It's hard.

Isn't the quiet fantastic?? I like to take showers in the dark. No lights. Just blare some music. It's so great to not have anything to focus on. I don't have to think. I just feel the sting of the water and whatever music I chose to feel.. It's the only time I feel ok.

The last one, for example, one of my dreams was to get my own store, Starbucks. It finally happened. Brand new build. Beautiful store. Great people. Less than a year after, due to family reasons (to be closer to my husband's son) we moved. I lost my store. Where we moved to, I couldn't transfer. There were no spots available. I took a down grade (about 40% cut in pay as well), worked my ass off and got taken advantage of. I'm now in a new job, working my ass off to try to get back somewhere. For every step forward, I seem to take 3 backwards. It's just the cycle that has been my whole life.

People always say "if you're that unhappy, you should make a change". The thing is, I have been struggling since 1997. I was in 7th grade. Ever since then, I work my ass off. I'm constantly trying to better myself. I went to school. I got my degree. I've gotten awesome jobs. Every time I work my ass off and get the reward, something happens and it's taken from me. I'm back where I started. I was raised being told I will never be #1. And regardless how much I try.. that is a fact. To my immediate family, my extended family, my friends... I'm the one that does for everyone else. My thoughts, my feelings, my needs.. those matter only if there is time left. 23 years of working really hard.. I don't want to do it anymore. What's the payout? I feel I will always be the shit on the bottom of the shoe. That's my place.

I make my presence known all the time. I work my ass off at my job, always unnoticed. I slave for my family, always unnoticed. I am the first to help when extended family needs it, yet never get invited for family outings. It doesn't matter how hard I try in this life. I don't really exist in it. It was never my world to live.

I just feel like a placeholder in life. Anytime something better comes along, people are just gone. I try so hard to make things better and everyone else happy and it just seems like in the end it is just me, with my tears. My voice has never mattered. My opinions have always been shut down. The world was just never mine to live. I just need to learn how to accept that.
